I had these leather boots I loved for years and I was so bummed when the bottom part started thinning out & broke. The leather was still very much in tact but the bottoms started coming out because the rubber soles thinned away.
What a great decision I made to bring my boots to Kapalama Shoe Repair!
My leather boots were fixed beautifully! It only took a week & $65 and I was so happy about the expertise and excellent attention to detail in how it was done!

Owner Jin does a good job repairing shoes.
When going there, make certain "exactly" what you would like to be repaired, do not let him decide, it may not be what you wanted.
Also, prepayment on all repairs.

They did a fine job on repairs— I had six pairs get protection on the bottoms and three pairs of them were boots which I also got toe taps for. But when I came to collect them, he stored them in a trash bag, and put my heavy boots on top of my new flats, which I hadn’t worn before and was just getting protection on the bottom, and made them super squished and the leather won’t bounce back. Beware of this.

Fast and efficient service for such a good price. The owners work is awesome. I had my favorite boots repaired and one of my leather bags repaired here. I have not been disappointed! Highly recommend.

They did an great job fixing my wife's Kate Spade leather brief case that the manufacturer could not even fix. It took about a week and the shop owner was nice. If you have a hard repair, this is a place to try for sure.
