We stayed at the Volcano Village Estates three nights from Oct. 15-18. We occupied one of the bungalow rooms. This was a fantastic place to stay and I would gladly go back in the future.

The room was clean and comfortable. We slept well there. You may not want to leave windows open at night because it can get very chilly.

The breakfasts that were provided each day were tasty. We were given a plate of fruit and an entree. I believe the three entrees we received were breakfast burritos, pancakes, and then quiche. There's a microwave in the room for reheating them.

The hot tub that's shared by the bungalow guests is large enough to accommodate a small crowd, but we were alone whenever we used it in the evenings. So it was a nice, romantic spot to cuddle and relax.

If you're in the area to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, then this is a great place to stay during your visit. The park entrance is just a few minutes away down the highway, which makes it extremely convenient. We ran into town from the park every day for lunch and were able to return to our room to freshen up before heading out for more hiking.

Very accommodating! Great breakfast. The host gave us an upgrade to the honeymoon suite, and it just so happened to be our honeymoon. Something had gotten into the attic and woke us at 2 am (totally understandable). The host upgraded us again and gave us a partial reimbursement for the early wake-up call.

Great place to stay! Close access to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Volcano Winery, Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant, and Hilo.

We stayed at Volcano Village Estates for three nights in the Pele bungalow. This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. It's secluded, quiet, and has amenities such as a private patio with a hot tub and a fire table. This unit also included a living room and full kitchen stocked with everything needed to cook during your stay. The provided breakfasts (if you opt in) are delicious and varied! The bathroom floor is heated, which is amazing for the cooler Volcano nights!

The location is minutes away from the Volcanoes National Park, and there are several delicious restaurants nearby. The staff will go above and beyond for you, as they did for us! They're super friendly and make you feel like family. We will definitely be staying again on future visits to the Big Island!

The grounds are attractive, with easy access to the main road- yet quiet. ||We stayed in the "Rainbow Falls" cottage for 5 days. The bed and pillows were comfortable. However, the room overall was too small. Only a gas fireplace for heat, and it did get chilly at night. Only a bathroom sink (for coffee water etc), and a very tight shower. The hot water ran out pretty fast and we had to wait for the water to heat back up before the other could shower.||The staff was friendly. * Only, they list "open until 6 pm". But when we needed their assistance for something, we did not get any return call until a few hours later. It appears no one is on-site in the late afternoon/evening hours.

Lovely little retreat in the jungle. My parents, brother, and I loved it. The hot tub is great right next to the jungle. Listening to the birds and wildlife while mellowing out is great. They're also very friendly and the accommodations were new, authentic, very clean, and very comfortable.
