Laura and Andy are amazing. I was clueless when starting the process of finding an engagement ring. Right from the start, both Andy and Laura talked me through the whole process and actually cared about me finding the right ring. Not only did the ring get created to perfection, but it was also completed ahead of schedule. Laura and Andy are awesome small business owners! When shopping for an engagement ring, I decided to seek out a boutique jeweler in the Northwest suburbs, in lieu of venturing into the city.

Little did I know, Laura Loyd’s was just around the corner from where we live in Algonquin. After some TOP SECRET appointments, I was able to design a beautiful custom ring with a lot of “WOW” factor to it, and Laura made everything so easy…

Incredible experience with Andrew & Laura! We needed a watch re-sized and Laura re-sized it super quickly, making sure to test out sizing as she took each link out. They offered a complimentary ring cleaning and also were happy to provide ring sizing as we waited for the watch to be re-sized! Incredibly nice and helpful people—will certainly be back.

After almost 15 years, I decided it was time to upgrade my engagement ring. I found Laura online and and because of the great reviews I decided this was the place, and it turned out to be the best decision! I knew I would not go to a chain store because I wanted a personal experience. Laura and Andy gave me that.
Laura has so much knowledge in all aspects of the jewelry business, and will explain everything you need to know. I would go to the store and have to wait while she was helping another customer, and didn't even mind, because I loved listening to her talk to other people. She has such a passion for what she does and it was fun to listen to her talk about it.
In the end, I got a beautiful ring that started with my original diamond, plus a few more that she picked out, and I am so very happy with the final custom engagement ring that I have. In the next few months I will be returning for a new wedding band, to match the beautiful piece that we created together.
