I used to love shopping here for my babygirl, so I decided to give some clothes. They retuned most of my items, and most of it was never worn from my baby, and in good condition. When I asked why they said it was because it had stains. They took around 10 items, in the pictures I laid some out that were in good condition and some never worn. I threw away the stained clothes I had, why would I give them messed up clothes? makes no sense, but what ever I’ll try some other place.

Went here to take some of my nieces children’s items that her children outgrew. I got there at 10, they said don’t worry about the first text just listen out for the second text to let you know we are done and you can come to the counter for your amount. 2 hours go by, nothing! I go up to the counter and ask how much longer will the wait be? The lady told me there were a few people in front of me. I told her okay I’ll be back later, I work 3rd shift I haven’t gotten any sleep yet. After 7 hours they called back, I missed the call because I was sleeping, the only thing they said on the message was we close at 9 see you before then! I let a couple of days go by and remembered I needed to go back. So I went back in and asked about the items I had took in. The lady looked dumbfounded like she didn’t know where the items were. Another lady was talking to her like I wasn’t just standing rite in front of them both! So the First Lady I was speaking to then said we bought your stuff out. She handed me a receipt with $38 on it for store credit only! My niece has twins so there were double of a lot of things, things with tags still on them and a lot of name brand shoes. So basically they stole everything and gave me $38! For a single mother in need this was so unacceptable! Kids grow fast, nothing of the sort was ever told to me that if I didn’t go back they would buy everything and for less money! This place is a scam! The wait time is outrageous and they need to explain their policies!

Today at 11:30 a.m. I brought in two little bags. One bag was clothes and one had some shoes in it. I was told by Caucasian woman that greeted me that they were no longer taking clothes. Only shoes. I was ok with that. I happen to be African American. The Caucasian woman behind me threw a fit stating she had to drive an hour. This woman was addressed by the manager that her clothes would be taken. I made a comment that this was not an option given to me. My clothes were accepted only because I said something about the treatment. When I called back to talk to the manager Lauren, she didn’t seem to care and kept saying but we took your clothes. The treatment was different. That’s what I was trying to say to her. If it’s not about race then what is it about? Why was I treated different?

I’ve given this a lot of thought, and I don’t normally write negative reviews, but this place is crazy. I heard they had good deals and that they’re a small local place, so I went shopping for my little niece, maybe last week. It was my first time in the store, and let me tell you, first impressions are everything.

I didn’t really have anything in mind and was just browsing, but then, this “shift lead” who announced herself as Heather, comes out of nowhere, and has an attitude with some of the other employees, over absolutely nothing. I guess it bothered me more because the people she was being rude to looked so much younger and maybe I just went into mama bear mode.

As someone who works in customer service management, I can tell you that I was very appalled.

First of all, literally no one cares what your position is, HEATHER. Seriously, no one cares.

Heather isn’t even a manager, just probably someone they gave keys and the ability to do returns. She was so rude to her coworkers, knowing I was nearby, that I was embarrassed for her. I know I cut my eyes at her, and I know we made eye contact. She was also short with customers, who she made wait forever (again, for no reason), which is just inappropriate.

It’s fine if you don’t have a personality or even people skills, but DON’T WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE if you don’t have those basic skills, please. I own my own business and I would never employ someone like that. It was genuinely disgusting. I value my employees, and I especially value my customers, because they are going to make or break my business.

I obviously won’t be back, which is whatever. It won’t make a difference to you, but I will feel better supporting small businesses elsewhere. I left without buying anything, but definitely hung around long enough to know what a toxic environment that place could be.

Tell Heather to stop announcing her title, because it’s kind of embarrassing, really, and you may want to offer some counseling, up to and including termination, for the way she treats her coworkers, as well as customers.

Remember : your internal customers (employees) are just as important as your external customers.

I gave them one star based on their buy practices, the amount that they offer you for your clothes when you have brought in very nice items that have been only worn once or twice or still the tags on them or still in unopened packaging, it is insulting. I just started taking mine to a consignment shop, and other places. I just told them that if I was gonna give my clothing away, I would give it to a center that I knew would give them to someone who actually needed them. I used to give a lot of stuff to Goodwill, but they are crazy with their prices anymore, so I donate to women shelters or an organization that will give them to families that truly need them.

Literally the worst once upon a child in the area. You can call and ask them what they are buying, and when you drive over 40 minutes to get there, they say they aren’t even buying any longer. It’s pathetic. This has happened to me more than 8-10 different occasions. It’s ridiculous you do what you have to to make a little extra money, because everyone is struggling and they do dumb stuff like that to just ruin your day.

This location tends to have high prices, and the amount of heavily stained items is crazy. You can find a treasure every now and then if you're willing to dig through the bins and racks, but I highly recommend setting a lot of time aside if you plan to do that. The sizes are very well organized, and for the most part, the staff is friendly, so that's a plus!
If you're selling on a weekend, GO EARLY. There is a line out the door and past neighboring stores (Saturday).
