Everyone at Stonecrafters,Inc is great. The showroom has a great selection of materials. They discuss the options available, describe what materials would do best in the space you are looking for. They come out and measure the location prior to installation. Installation was seamless. The installers were polite and courteous. Photos are post installation without backsplash. After several years of trying to decide on replacing countertops and multiple visits to many companies I found Stonecrafters and I was so happy I did. From the very beginning the help I received from picking out the granite, having the counters measured, to viewing the cut layout and finally the installation I was impressed with the professionalism I received. The installers were so hardworking even when challenged with laminate countertops that were many years old. If you are looking at replacing countertops please have Stonecrafters do the job!!

I recently entrusted Lakemoor Stonecrafters with a straightforward project: duplicating a rectangular marble piece approximately 10” x 3”. It required only three dimensions, making it a simple task. Unfortunately, while two of the dimensions were accurate, the thickness was incorrect—the marble was too thick.

When I returned to address the issue, I was informed that grinding the marble down would be significantly more expensive. This left me frustrated, as no one mentioned this potential issue when I initially placed the order. I was then asked if I had specifically informed the salesperson about the required thickness. However, I believe that ensuring clarity on project specifications is part of their responsibility as professionals in the industry.

To make matters worse, I was met with dismissive remarks, including being told not to “get excited.” I found this both unprofessional and insulting. If a business struggles to deliver on something as basic as three dimensions, I shudder to think how they might handle something as complex as a full kitchen countertop.

This experience has left me questioning the competency and customer service standards of your company. I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement so future customers don’t face similar issues.

We had existing granite countertops that needed to be removed to allow us to replace built-in appliances. The Stonecrafters team did an amazing job removing the granite panel and setting them up for safe storage until we were able to have the appliances replaced. They then returned and expertly reinstalled the panel. All of this work was performed with the highest quality and care for the existing cabinets. We couldn't be more pleased with the work, the friendly staff and responsiveness to our request. I strongly recommend Stonecrafters!
