How refreshing it was to deal with a company that knows what customer service is. Every question answered with a smile and explanation that was understandable. Just from talking with them on the phone, my wife was impressed. I'm so glad she said, lets go there for the hitch. We traveled from Crystal Lake to have them do the install when I could have had it done a few blocks from my home. I have never experienced such good customer service at a repair shop! Brenda was fantastic to deal with my trailer had a very long list of repairs and everything was done very well. I'm old - yep old - and have a scooter for walking. JD's worked tirelessly to secure the metal carrier (with a ramp for my scooter) onto the trailer. When the ramp began to sag a bit they were so creative in shoring it up so my scooter would move right up and onto the trailer. They have patience, expertise, and will make suggestions to solve the concern. They are "old school" in their professionalism, work ethic, and knowledge. Dealing with JD's was delightful. Don't go to any other repair shop. JD's is the best by far.

I had several dealings with JD's Repair. There are many things I love about them! First, it's a incredibly well run family business. Brenda at the front counter in so nice and friendly. She's very honest about what you need and they never try to over sell you on anything. JD is super knowledgable and does a great job explaining everything step by step. They communicate very clearly and educate you on what needs to be done and why. You will walk away knowing that they truly care about their customers! You will be very happy you found this place.

Set up an appointment at 10am. Dropped vehicle off at 10am. I was told it would take 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours to install hitch and harness. I called 2 hours later at 12 asking for an update. Vehicle was still not touched and hasn't moved and she tells me she can't have 2 guys start working on it now. Wasted my entire morning if this is how this business operates I am not sure how they have such great ratings. Reason why I choose this place because of the excellent reviews. Maybe there fake reviews from family and friends Awful customer service will be taking my business elsewhere.

They are honest, local, hardworking, smart, prompt, efficient and caring. They provided a very detailed estimate of the work to be done, met all timelines, and guided me through the process of a sale. Highly recommended in every aspect of working with them.
