Such a fun place! Like a book, record, antique all rolled into one.

Only recommendation.. if it's cold out- find somewhere to put your jacket. It gets so warm in there and carrying it is hard because it's so tight!

This is a great bookstore with a good variety of new and used books. Their used book collection in the basement has the largest scifi fantasy section I have ever seen. And it also felt like I was in an old university library searching stacks for some hidden treasure. Especially if you are looking for the Art section...

The upstairs bookstore holds a VERY small fraction of their books. Find the basement and you will find an amazing hoard of books!

I've frequent a lot of used bookstores in a lot of states but Von's Books has always been my favorite and has a great (and large) selection of titles and genres and great prices.

If you've never been, don't miss out out the even larger used bookstore downstairs (accessible through a staircase next to the jewelry part of the shop). Could spend endless hours there and not be bored.

I absolutely love this store. I could spend hours in here. Wish I had more time. Unfortunately I have congestive heart failure and having to wear a mask shortened my visit. I understand the policy though. Can't wait to go back!
