I went to this Crane's shop to buy 2 pairs of top dollar boots. I told the salesman that I wanted size 14 EW. He insisted that he needed to check my feet using a device I put my foot in. He tried to get several pairs of 11.5 and 12 shoes and boots on my feet and they were all too small. He refused to even let me see any larger size boots. What a dummy he was. He insulted my intelligence by insisting 14EW was too big for me. I even showed him my Red Wing boots I was wearing were 14EW & told him I had my feet for 60 years and I knew what size boots fit them. I took my money to the Boot Store in Bloomington and got 3 pairs of expensive 14EW boots and they never second guessed me when I told them what size I wanted. So scroow Crane's leather shop and their rude salesmen.

Staff very friendly...but thought a little pricey for 2 small high heel soles...lots of nails to hold it on? No one will see, but just thought it odd?

Had boots resoled. Excellent price. Great service. Reasonable turn around. The store sells boots, slippers, and some shoes. Insoles as well. They also have a decent selection of wallets and some leather jackets. Overall, I'd recommend the place if you are needing your boots repaired or want to shop for a new pair.

How ever I did wait a little long for the boots, they do take the time to professionally measure your feet and get the perfect size for you! Worth the wait!

It's been years since I have not been there, But I'm going to go there tomorrow to take my favorite shoe's to get them repaired. I hope they are not to far gone. I have muscular dystrophy and these feel so good on my feet. I just can't retire them just yet. Thanks to Cranes shoe repair I will be able to wear them again. If they can be saved, Cranes can save them. I have never heard one negative thing about them. My mother used to go there, she's gone now. But she couldn't say enough good about them. Thank you Cranes for years of service 🙏

I took my vintage Birkenstocks to have them resoled. Very happy with their work! The shop is a wonderful assortment of leather goods. Highly recommend for browsing and any leather work.
They are the real deal!

They repaired a pair of wooden clogs and leather boots for me. They did an excellent job. Both were tricky repairs and they look like new. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive.
The fees are very reasonable.

This place is awesome and the workers are so helpful. If you are unsure of what kind of boot to get or what size you are this is the place to go. You can tell they are very experienced. I’m very happy with my experience.
