Avery, long hair and a mustache ( incase there is more than one). Is awesome. Went out of his way to help me find a bag of Sliced pepperoni. Checked pallets and everything without me even asking for him to do all that. Unfortunately tall were out but that's okay. I just appreciate that he tried so hard to help.

I like to shop at Sam’s and most of time I satisfy what I got there except today.
I’m not a person who likes to review something but I think I should write my experience today at check out. I purchased five items using app on my phone and an employee at the exit checked my items and told me I should pay extra 5 mangoes because the one box of mango comes with only 5 but I have ten. I grabbed one box of mango which contained ten among the boxes and I didn’t put any extra. I told her if the one box comes with 5 mangoes, you should check the boxes because I saw every box has 10 mangoes. She hold me at exit and kept insist I need to pay extra 5 mangoes. So I told her I don’t want to pay any extra and not taking the mangoes. Then, she called someone via walkie to come to us. I waited for several minutes and someone came up and checked and said it originally contained 10 mangoes, there is nothing wrong with it.
After I came back home, the more I think about it, the angrier I get. It could be happened if the employee made a mistake or not trained enough BUT the employee’s attitude made me angry. I feel like she did it to me on purpose because I am an Asian woman who shopped there without anyone.
I’m not telling the name of employee here and I hope the store manager who is charge of employees should know this.
I just found out the sticker on the box said it counts 10 mangoes. I really want to put the picture of box but I don’t know how to upload it here.

The store itself is great. They do a great job keeping things stocked and organized and the curbside pickup is always smooth.
The reason for my rating is for their tire department. My family has purchased tires from Sam's for about the last 9 years. They have always been fair to me and the warranty offered sets them apart from their competitors. That all changed when I moved to Bloomington. First my daughter came in about 6 months ago for a nail in her tire, well within the repairable area. Nope, wouldn't touch it because the guy felt "it was a liability". Then this month I brought mine in because I had a screwdriver bit, also well within the repairable area. Again they refused to touch it because it was "blown out", when I told him it's just a puncture in the green zone he doubled down and said "yeah it is but the tire is blown out so I can't touch it". I don't know if he just assumed I was stupid but a small puncture is not a complete tire blowout.
I checked on Google and found a tire shop up the road with 5 stars, boy was this place a gem. The guys were were great and fixed my tire quickly, with no fuss for only $20.
On another occasion I stopped by to try and get a tire rotation. The employee was pacing back and forth inside 3 (out of 4) empty bays. I asked if they could get me in for a quick rotation and was told that they were so busy today they could only schedule me for a week out. After shopping for 45 minutes of shopping this guy was still just standing in those 3 empty bays. Only when I finished loading my car did I see him and another guy come out and start working on someone's truck.

Summary: if you just need the store go here, they're great. If you need tires or tire work, look for the tire shop up the road with 5 stars. Don't give a single dime to Sam's for tires.
