I bought a hot baked chicken yesterday for $7.99. However, when I got home and started cutting into it, I found that while the surface was hot, the inside was cold and still frozen. It seems like it may have been reheated. It’s unbelievable that such a thing could happen at such a reputable store.

I like shopping at Fresh Thyme Market. The staff there are helpful. The store is clean. The butcher counter is quality. I usually get the thick cut bacon. Fresh Thyme doesn't have as big of a selection as some groceries stores but they have high quality products.

the self checkout systems never registering the barcodes on produce - which for some reason REQUIRES staff to come over and reset when you scan one of these bad barcodes EVERY TIME - is really obnoxious. We all hate checkout machines but at least at Kroger it will just make you manually enter instead once that happens. I mean, I’ll just manually enter all produce from now on, but why?

It’s like…. So close to 5 stars. But idk why having to use the checkout machines suck. the conveyer belt one will send a 2L soda flying towards my eggs even if I try to lightly set it down. Again, the Kroger ones are better, but I’m still heavily a hater of self checkout lol. Sadly there’s usually enough of a wait for the 1, maybe 2 staffed lanes to be worth waiting for a basket of items.

Pretty solid everything else except pricing on non produce but man they are very consistent on meat and produce, more akin to blooming foods than Kroger

Having moved here from Arizona, I gotta say that Fresh Thyme is the twin brother of Sprouts! I loved Sprouts and I’m loving Fresh Thyme so far. I buy fresh produce and meats here every week, and I haven’t been disappointed.

Really starting to question the morals of this company. Every time I go into either store in town lately I’m picking up and almost buying expired products (thankfully I always check dates on stuff before I buy) the items are for my small children which makes it even more concerning. Things like yogurt that expired 2 months ago just as an example. I always bring it up to an employee when I find something & they never seem to care and just blow it off. Today I grabbed something that expired in APRIL and after telling an employee I heard them walk over to a co worker and tell them how ridiculous I was for saying something. My bad that I don’t want someone else buying something for their child and giving it to them not realizing it expired almost 6 months ago.

The meat department here offers some great high quality cut selections and thier pre prepped and seasoned gourmet burger patties such as thier cheddar and bacon all ground and shaped rite into the patty. If you like ice cream then the variety of selections to pick from should more then satisfy any sweet tooth but if not then you can also pick from their candy by the lb. Might just do it for you jelly belly beans are always my favorite to get a bag of

THANK YOU for having 5 dollar Thursday sushi and actually having a variety of rolls for 5 dollars, krogers cheap asses have 6 dollar day and they only have a plain California roll for 6 dollars cause they suck, will continue to come for 5 dollar sushi and thank you to the sushi chef who makes them 🩵
