Saw some plain, primary color coffee cups that were marked $1.99. (Remember, someone donated these cups.) Looking for cracks, I turned one over, and there was a clean dollar general sticker for $0.99. ?

So excited we came across this goodwill in this little town. I read the previous reviews and was nervous but the two ladies there today were so incredibly kind and helpful. The prices were slightly higher than other goodwills I have been to BUT I’m sure a beach location has much higher overhead. Prices still weren’t bad. I found a Ralph Lauren button down that retails probably over $80 for $11!

Extremely overpriced for donated items. Most all housewares 4.99 or more, even DollarTree items. The manager thinks she is running some sort of high end boutique. If you do buy something, check your receipt for an overcharge. I bought a throw priced 4.99, the cashier charged me 14.99.

I have come into the store several times in the last 6 years of living here and I must say that I don't feel very "welcomed" that I'm there to spend my money. No one has a smile and are just plain rude. All these items are DONATED to the store from around the area and country. It's made to be affordable for the less fortunate. I went in and bought a NICE used telescope for 25 bucks. Ok affordable right. Then on my next visit is see a NICE used dresser for 150! Not very affordable I must say. I know they need to turn a profit but dang. I have noticed they have everyone working together on tasks except a few people who in my opinion really need the help unloading big items. Every job has teamwork and I just don't see it here.

There are two older women who are rude about every time I go in there. Many items are way over priced. Most expensive Goodwill I have ever been in. Last week I was trying to buy a sewing machine that didn't have a price on it. I went in 4 different times and asked about pricing, but no one could give me a price. Then I go back in again and it's gone. I'm talking to this lady back where the sewing machine was. She told me someone called her friend and told her they had gotten one in, she could come get it. So I guess it depends on who you know. Store personnel don't price it if they are holding it for someone. Through shopping at this GW rather drive to PC better pricing and definitely less rude old women.

Love the store. Usually buy something even when I say to myself I am not going to. lol Two partial bolts of fabric, 3.99 ea and a purse new to me 6.99. Nothing wrong with those prices at all. Really clean, very organized, color coded end caps (which I thought was ingenious) and friendly staff with smiles even in the middle of their day.

The quality of goods is better than other thrift stores but the prices are higher. Many name brand items are priced above retail.
The store is clean and has nice changing rooms. The clothes are spread evenly and organized well. The staff is available and seem mostly harmless.
I won't dock stars because the prime beach location probably warrants higher prices during different (post hurricane recovery) times. Also, lack of competition means paying a bit more for things.

We never leave here without something! This time it was a comforter for the bed and a pig for the kitchen. This place is always clean and organized and the employees are always friendly. This Goodwill is priced reasonably not ridiculously like many places. We never come to Port St Joe without stopping in here...you shouldn't either.
