I’ve been a loyal seller and buyer of Preloved for years. I was recently selling and was unable to make it to takedown because of an extenuating circumstance out of my control. I reached out to the store and let them know to try and avoid the fee associated with not taking down and they refused to help. So I paid 40% of all my sales, $25 for a booth, and $20 for missing takedown and ended up making no money for hours of work. I have really like working with them but was sad to see how they treated me as a loyal customer. Love that they are keeping clothes out of the landfill, but I do not love that they didn’t take my situation into consideration.

My daughter has been begging to sell her extra clothes at preloved for awhile. We got a booth for the second week in December. They charged us $25 for a booth and 40% of her sales. She has sold lots of items. Doc Martens, jeans, coats coats etc. But after all her costs she will make $3.
I called Kid to Kid where she typically sells and they would have paid her $10 for the Doc Martens alone with out the hassle of set up take down and tagging stuff.
I am sure this is a great model for buying used clothes. But not a great win for the sellers. Save yourself the hassle and go to kid to kid or Plato’s Closet.

My very first time here! I don’t know why it took me so long - really great ?prices?and they have all the great brands. Came here on a Friday early evening and a lot of the booths were marked between 50-90% off ?.

I found a few ?pieces? that were just too ?good?to pass up. I love me some great bargains. It seems like most of their clothing were in good to excellent shape - the prices you pay for the brands they offered, some were a steal! I seriously can’t wait to come back! ?

As a buyer: I love shopping at Pre Loved for clothing for myself as well as for my kids! A secondhand shop that looks, feels and smells like a boutique is an absolute brilliant idea and makes an amazing shopping experience. I’ve gotten incredible deals on name brand clothing. You can find amazing quality items for cheaper than any thrift store in town, especially if you hit the discount days.

As a seller: I recently rented a booth to sell some of my clothes. It was a seamless experience where you can tag items at home with prices you’re comfortable selling. The app made it easy to keep track of sales and choose your own discounts. Set up and take down was easy. I’d say to hold off on designer clothing and save that for Poshmark as people are looking for great deals. My Madewell, Bohme and Jcrew items sold well. I was happy to make money on things that no longer fit me and can now be enjoyed by someone else!

I LOVE Preloved!!! Such a cute, clean store with SO many items! I got lots of cute clothes and a swaddle for my newborn and something for me - all for $25! It’s my favorite way to thrift! And new stuff every week?! You can’t beat it! I just wish I had heard about it sooner :’) will definitely be going again!

I LOVE THIS STORE! This place is also VERY ADDICTING. I can’t get enough. I’ve purchased several new and like-new items for myself and for my son. I’ve also had a booth and I made just under $200 on clothes I didn’t wear anymore that were taking up space in my closet. I follow their instagram stories closer than I follow my religion. This place is amazing. If you are on a budget and like to limit the amount of clothes that end up in landfills, and you also like supporting the women and families in your community, this place can’t be beat. I am an avid thrifter and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Also…here’s some tips.
Saturdays - the best stuff
Wednesdays- the day people usually start discounting.
Fridays- the cheapest stuff with prices sometimes 75-90% off!
Make sure to look on the shelves.

If you have a booth, know the value of your items and don’t overprice them.
Don’t try to sell stained or damaged items for a premium price.
Don’t overstuff your booth.
Put up a sign of what typical sizes you have in your booth.
Make sure your tags are easily seen and read.
Use provided hooks for purses, swim wear and other accessories.
If you have a lot of the same kind of items you can bundle them for a good deal and also get rid of a lot of stuff.
Make it easy as easy as possible for people to shop your booth.
