After going to top name shoe stores in Sarasota and displeased with the lack of service or assistance while sales teams stood around talking to each other, I went to the three in Venice. Gulf Soles was the worst of all. The female “owner “ never even looked up from her phone much less greeted me, I asked, after standing looking at her fir five minutes, for owner as he had great reviews she said she is and her husband Mike but he worked in Englewood. She was rude and no assistance. The third I went to was B & B Bootery, what a breath of fresh air!!! If you want old time service with a smile and has the knowledge also then skip all the other stores!!! While I couldn’t find the exact need, the sales lady went over and found a pair of shoes she thought I may like, I had seen them previously and loved them but unfortunately did not have my size. But her expertise knew exactly what I was looking for. Kudos to this shop, they know how to run a business!! I will be back!!

Came in with my brother who needed sandals, the lady who helped us was super nice, listened to my brother and got him what he was looking for, and we were on our way! Super nice experience and really quality shoes, especially if you're looking for sturdy, practical kinds of sandals. Keen, Ecco, Taos, Birkenstock, etc.

I went here at the direction of my wife to look for hiking shoes which is something I know nothing about. While you couldn't tell it from the interior of the sales area that have a large selection in the back. Looked at Keen and at their suggestion Altra hiking boots. Couldn't really make a selection since I have almost no experience with hiking. I'll need her with me to make a choice. Wonderful people to deal with.

The staff is very helpful and have been working with customers for sometime. I have purchased quite a few pairs from them. The store is family-owned and operated so it is nice to support the local community with some great shoe selections. Cute little shoe store!

I called here today to see if they had altra shoes in wide. The man that answer the phone told me that altras don't come in a wide. I couldn't articulate myself quick enough to respond before he said he was busy had a store full of people... I called back a few hours later after researching the Altras make two lines that are wide width to verify if he had them in my size before I spent an hour and a half driving, and he wouldn't even hear my question out, he hung up on me. I have never been treated in such disrespect from simply wanting to ask a question. If he thinks he's busy he needs to step his into a pharmacy where we are continually on our feet for 12 hours a day and all we can do is vaccine vaccine vaccine and get screamed at for not being able to keep up. I'll be buying my shoes somewhere else.

Great locally owned shoe store! Amazing selection of some of the top comfort brands of shoes and sandals that are impossible to find elsewhere. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the most comfortable new shoes and is always friendly!

Great experience! I explained to the gentlemen exactly what I wanted and they were very accommodating. They showed me a variety of options and explained the pros and cons of each. Highly reccomend over big name stores!
