I am installing a new whole house generator and needed to find a home for my old large, but portable generator. WM would not take it, even after draining all the fuel and oil, but Venice Outdoor Equipment accepted the unit for disposal with no charge. These folks were friendly, professional and went the extra mile.

I just wanted to express my thanks to a small business that stands behind they're work. I brought in a chainsaw with two minor issues. One still present after pickup. I returned, they apologized for the inconvenience & repaired it quickly without further cost. I'll make sure future purchases are from them rather than box stores.

I have to say I love these people... I own a small lawn care business, and I have a Cub Cadet 50-inch zero-turn mower along with other equipment and I've had many issues trying to find the right blades for my mower. The lady that works the front desk literally made calls googles stuff and made more calls. She made sure before she sold me the blades that they were the right ones and now they pretty much always have them in stock.. her husband helped me one day by getting my weedeater running for me. I was already behind on my accounts and to have my weedeater go down was devastating to me that day. I had little to no money on me and he had it going in 30 minutes and charged me what I had on me.. ever since I've tried to go to them for anything I need.. it's nice when you walk in an see a smile every time you open their doors..

The worst? The biggest thieves, liars, crooks! They should be jailed. Like most to all service repair places these days, they charge you for things they did not do! My equipment didn't even start when I got it back. I gave them all the parts they may need 2 each and they tried giving me back parts that do not even fit my machine. They kept $100 worth of my parts. and I have the pictures of what I left them!
They don't like getting caught in their lies and thievery. and get literally hostile and start cussing.
If you want to give your money away for no service, bad repairs, No repair, CRAP customer services then use them. Turn around now and stay away!!

I had another wonderful experience at Venice Outdoor Equipment. They are so accommodating, courteous and friendly. They are efficient in handling your repair issues. Misty is so professional and courteous as well as the staff and owner. I have bought seven pieces of equipment from them and will not go anywhere else. I drive from Sarasota because no one in this area can match their honesty, integrity and service. I would give them 20 stars if I could. They could teach a lot of other business how to make customers into clients!!!

We called less than an hour before closing on a Friday, needing a tire repaired for our golf cart and they truly saved our weekend!! From the minute we walked in, until we left, everyone there was beyond friendly, helpful and courteous. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could!!

Biggest liars, thieves, and crooks in Venice. They won’t repair your equipment, they only tell you what they want you to hear, and charge you an arm and a leg for everything.
