This past Spring, I purchased several pieces of artwork, knick-knacks, and a cool little reclaimed wood cabinet from the Blue Octopus. The prices are reasonable, the items are unique, and the owners are great. If you're looking for that distinct piece that you can't get at a commercial furniture store, check this place out! I'll be returning very soon.

You can find The Blue Octopus across the railroad tracks from Icon Brewery. On a recent trip to Vero Beach I had fun exploring this furniture and home goods store specializing in Treasure Coast inspired reclaimed wood furniture, coastal art, and nautical accessories.

I like how the Blue Octopus has pieces for your home that you won't see anywhere else. From large pieces of furniture to decorative touches everything is so unique. Some of my favorites in the store were the buffet with carved sea turtles, Great Blue Heron art, a shark coming out from the wall, and swimming mermaids. I love the soothing colors, light woods, white, and the blues of the ocean. I was greeted with a friendly hello and prices seemed very reasonable too. If you are a fan of coastal decor there will be so many things you will want.

I love this place! There is so much nautical stuff here that you feel like your in Cape Cod. Management is very pleasant here and very knowledgeable about all the decor. There is way too much cool eclectic stuff to list in a post like this and what’s shocking is how reasonably priced everything is. If your in the market to buy some authentic seaside merchandise, I can’t think of a better place to go. Really!

Very nice eclectic furniture / art store. My wife and I stopped in while in the area. She has a way of finding these type of stores. Great selection of furniture, antiques and art all with a nautical twist. Absolutely love the door handles. Very friendly staff. A must see.

The Blue Octopus.. Went there because of their name ... I love octopi!!! And along with gorgeous furniture they do sell octopi.. I bought an octopus paper towel holder!! And we ended up buying a dinning room set!!! Beautiful pieces of furniture all in a funky Chic atmosphere ... Not to mention the helpful sales people.. Will always shop here !!! Very recommended!!!

What a blast this shack in the city is!!! So much fun looking around at all of the nautical items and other fun aquatic pieces!!! Don’t miss a visit to the Blue Octopus ? if you’re checking out Vero Beach for the first time, or like me, whose lived here for over a decade and just found out about it. It also has a sister store that sells mainly beach/nautical themed furniture-I haven’t been there yet and the name has slipped my mind but it has the word “Island” in it. Need to wait to recover from surgery to check that one out (that’s why I have all this time to write a review ?!).
