This is the best thrift store in Gainesville for jewelry. I just discovered it this week (a year after moving to Gainesville). They have large selections of gold and silver jewelry including rings, bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. All the jewelry I got ranged from $1-$5.
I didn’t look much at the other sections but they had a surprisingly large selection of designer clothes/shoes and a good amount of regular clothes/shoes/handbags, as well as a furniture section.

I love Sandy’s!! I always find something and appreciate that they offer a higher end and easily shop able reuse store experience! I am dedicated to buying used instead of new and they take a lot of care organizing by size and displaying everything to make the shopping experience easy and enjoyable!

I love shopping here! I find something every time I go. They don’t just have cute clothes but also shoes, accessories, and home decor/furniture. I just sold with them for the first time today and will definitely do it again. I did not have an appointment but they still took in my clothes and had it done in a couple of hours! Highly recommend!

Went in for the first time in a long time, I had 2 boxes of clothes and was told that I need an appointment also was told that you have to book 2 months out, then was told only 5 items at a time and would take 2 hours. Received a call that unfortunately they weren't able to take anything that I left, this is not the first time that I bring in decent clothes and what they had listed that was not taken. I can I honestly say it will definitely be my last.

Their “Sunday sell” is not true! I picked out TWO items in the sale section, which the lady told me is 50% off. Got to the register and she rang me up for full price on both items. I explained to her I found both items in the sale section and she said that doesn’t mean it’s on sale and maybe someone just moved the items. To which I asked “so yall put items that aren’t even on sale in the sale section?” She replied yes. Did the math and was only supposed to spend about $22 and it cost 40- doesn’t break the bank, but it’s silly that you trick customers into getting all the way up to the counter before telling them they have to spend double what they intended.

I first went to Sandy's in 1982 when I was in School with her younger sister Patsy. It was her first shop and at that time she was located across the street from the UF. It was a small upstairs shop and very, cool!
This was in a time when Music was somewhere between Rock, Punk and New Wave and as such, so were our fashions. Sandy was the coolest. She would let us bring in our outfits and basically trade them out! Of course I have over the years come to realize it was because we were Patsy's friends.
I never had a sister much less a big sister but imagine having a big sister who let your friends change out their outfits for the weekend at the Coolest consignment shop on earth.
Ages later I move back to Gainesville from Miami and my daughter is talking about SANDY'S!
She's younger than Patsy and I were and I'm hesitant to even suggest but I'm pretty sure that this is Sandy. And so it is!! Just want to send my love to...
