Aqua East Surf Shop

I went in for a swimsuit and was disappointed because the woman with glasses, who I believe may be a manger seemed unwilling to help me and my daughter. Maybe she was having an off day but It created a hostile atmosphere which I was saddened to see because I am usually treated well at this location. She seemed to be quite moody and exhibited behaviors that indicated she would rather be elsewhere.

Accessibility, disability notes: •Parking closest to door not designated handicap parking; however does have sloped access. •Designated handicap parking is at for North of building. (To the far right, if facing building front •Shaded front walk with very high bench (presumable photo op?) •Well lit parking. •Security cameras for parking. •Manual, vertical handle pull entrance , push exit entry door with low, curved, metal threshold.

Great service! As I was shopping for a new surfboard. I went into many shops around St. Augustine and Jacksonville and Aqua East in St. Augustine was great! Noah, Chuck and Wyatt all gave me great insight on helping me decided on my board. Super nice and very helpful from them! I’m super happy with my board! My wife and I stop in all the time to shop for surf accessories and clothes and everyone is always super helpful! We love this shop!

Went shopping for a new Surfboard and Chuck helped me out. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! He got me all set up with a great new board. His passion for surfing was clear. I live closer to the Neptune Beach location but will go to St Augustine just to work with Chuck next time I need anything surfing related.

Excellent service. We walked in, went to the skateboard section and right away Matt came over and helped us. He asked us what we were looking for and took the time to listen. He explained the different skateboard options and stayed close the entire time so that when we had questions, he was available to answer them. He directed us towards something that worked perfectly for us. Very happy with our purchase and Matt’s customer service.

Top notch! Friendly staff that greets you when you walk in. That sounds like something simple, but a lot of shops don't do that anymore, and It really makes customers feel welcome. Chuck, I think it was. (Long-haired surfer dude) was super cool and helpful. Place was clean and well lit. The only thing that would make it better would be a larger clearance section lol.

This is a very nice surf shop. In comparison, I went back to the 17th Street Surf Shop in Virginia Beach recently where all the staff acted like we didn't belong there because we don't look like surfers. At Aqua East, the sales ladies were helpful and friendly. We purchased good quality Catch Surf boogie boards and I had fun reliving my summers boogie boarding as a child.

I had a birthday shopping spree here and I loved all my outfits ❤️ beautiful selection to choose from, friendly staff.. love the girls working...great birthday
