I had a plastic shoelace hook snap off of my boot (black hook pictured below) and had it taken in for replacement. They removed the broken piece and added a much more durable, bronze hook (also pictured). The new hook feels sturdy and well-installed.

They were super courteous, friendly, and professional. Plus the price was super affordable.

My family and I will definitely be coming back for all of our shoe repair needs.

I didn’t realize that the ASAP Shoe Repair store in Algonquin had closed so checked the website for other locations. I saw that the Crystal Lake store was open on Weds until 6:00 PM. I arrived at 5:35 PM but the store was locked up tight/was not open.

If you're looking for a shoe repair shop, plus other types of leather repair, I would recommend this shop. Replaced soles and heels on my son's motorcycle boots and did an excellent job. This is how I feel a true shoe repair shop used to be.

I wear cowboy boots daily so have more than a handful of pairs and have been getting them all polished and repaired by ASAP for a few years now. This time I brought in 2 pairs to get polished, resoled and reheeled. When I went to go pick them up my 3 year old son fell asleep on the way there. I called in and asked if there was anyway my boots could be brought out to me so I wouldn’t have to wake up my son. Without hesitation the wonderful lady on the phone said yes! These are the little things that make a good business great! They have gained a forever customer and will continue to keep recommending them to my friends and family.

I brought my Uggs over because they had a little water damage. Uggs are very sensitive and he knew that. Instead of saying he can’t fix them, he said he could and ended up destroying them. 200 dollar shoes are just garbage now.
