A neat shop to visit and look around. A little disappointed in the product quality. Bought this $50 mug in November and almost immediately began getting hairline cracks in the glaze on the inside. Always hand washed, never in dishwasher, only used for coffee. Outside is holding Up great at least.

This place was a good place for souvenirs for family back home. The selection ranged from touristy chachkees to really nice handmade tile artwork.

One really cool aspect of the store is that one wall is all windows and shows the studio where the artists are working. Prices were reasonable and the quality of the merchandise was very good.

Loved so many things at this place.
One thing, due to covid, they open at certain time which is different from Google. So better making a call before you head out. (Hanapepe one is closed for the time being)

My family has been shopping here for years and were saddened to see what the business has become during our last visit earlier this year. The artist who started the studio has retired and sold the business to someone who is completely overhauling the store's offerings. Most of the wonderful pottery that this shop was known for is being phased out and replaced with items from Japan. (Who goes to Hawaii for Japanese art, clothing, and trinkets?) I really don't understand the thought process behind someone buying a well-loved business only to then change everything about it that made it great.

I called the Aloha Spice Company but was directed here instead. I was looking for a specific tea that my fiancé bought while we were there a couple years ago. One of the women working there (I wish I remembered her name!) was so helpful! She called the other side of the island for me and told me they were out of stock but messaged me awhile later because she was able to track down one of the shops that sold the tea so that I could order it!! I really appreciated the time and effort she put in to help!
