Great buying experience. Saw the boat online, stopped in the dealership to look and of course loved it. Ken was a great salesman, helped me through the process, and made the whole experience fun. My wife and I had rented a house on Casey Key for a week in June. Upon arrival, I put the boat in water only to discover that it wasn't pumping water. It was Fathers Day and so the next morning I called several places around Nokomis to see if I could get repairs and everyone was backed up for over a month. I finally located Big Toy Toys in Venice and Justin told me to bring the boat in. I had already consigned myself to being grounded for most of our week and I was prepared to pay a premium to get the boat back quickly. I was amazed. Justin and his team got our boat repaired and back to us in a day. Great job, great people and a very fair price. Thank you Justin and thank your team. You saved our vacation!

I live in Venice and my wife and I have been looking at boats for 2 years. We went to Big Toy to look at their NauticStar boats a few times. We decided NauticStar was the boat we wanted after exploring other manufacturers. We scheduled a sea trial after we were preapproved for financing. After a trip back from the keys, my wife and I decided to purchase a NauticStar close-out model from another dealer in the keys after much thought and consideration and we cancelled our sea trial with Big Toy. The price was much cheaper than Big Toy could offer since the model boat was a year older than anything Big Toy had available. Any reasonable person would have done the same because it made financial sense. Out of courtesy, I contacted Big Toy and talked to the sales person we had worked with. He told me that Big Toy would not provide service to me since I purchased another boat from out of the area. I confirmed this with Brian, the owner. I reached out to NauticStar corporate headquarters and they provided no help. In fact, NauticStar had the courtesy to contact Big Toy to let them know I called and never returned my call. I cannot imagine any reasonable company would allow a representative of their product to treat their customer in that manner. Apparently, NauticStar does and Big Toy will refuse to service my boat nor provide any warranty work. I strongly suggest anyone searching for a boat to look not only at another boat sales center, but to look at another boat manufacturer all together. I cannot imagine anyone who purchased a Ford to be turned down by another dealer that did not receive the sale of a vehicle; they would probably lose the ability to sell the manufacturers product. I hope this is helpful for anyone searching for a boat.
