After some 37 years Jeff's teal Cannodale mountain bike made it back home for a little love. And boy did Adam deliver! New cables, brakes and derailleurs and the bike was surprisingly wonderfully reborn! Super well executed in an affordable timely manner! Thanks Bikesmiths!

We were camping at Monroe and my son's bike chain broke. One of the naturalists suggested bikesmiths, and we were glad they did. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They had no problem working on our mongoose bike we got at Walmart. They could have easily said they don't work on low end bikes, but they didn't. They called us shortly after dropping it off and said they had looked it over and said they found a few other issues and asked if we would like them to fix these issues too. All the repairs were a reasonable price and much less than a new bike. The replacement parts look like quality parts and the work looks top notch. They have a nice selection of new bikes for purchase if you are in the market for a new bicycle.

Bikesmiths is my favorite bike shop in a city with no shortage of bike shops. The staff there are always friendly and really helpful, and they have been a fantastic resource for all my roadbike needs. When my bike wheel was stolen, they helped me get a new wheel super quickly and made sure I was back out on the road the next day. Amazing folks at Bikesmiths and I highly recommend them!

I took my mountain bike here because there was a grinding noise in the drivetrain. I suspected that the bearings were shot and needed to be replaced. Someone looked at my bike, told me that everything was fine, and sent me on my way ($15 ish charge, they did no repair on the bike). I rode the bike regularly for another two months and then took it to a different shop in the area for a different reason. Turns out the bearings had been shot for months and because they hadn't been replaced there was uneven wear/tear on other components. I will not take a mountain bike here again.

Amazing staff here. The staff here is extremely polite and will be able to help you with any problems you might face at an easy price. Jessie, especially, was the only one in Bloomington who helped me by replacing the back tires on my GoTrax Scooter and then further giving me tips to increase longevity of the tires.

Would definitely recommend visiting here
