I personally think there scales are off, and on the phone they tell you a price for say copper or brass , and when you get there in a hours time you dont get how much your suppost to get that's happend a few times it is a nice place but haven't been to impressed with the way they do things plus there closed like 6 months for some reason makes no sence Bad bizness

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the lack of follow-through on a promise made by BlueScope Recycling and Materials. They caused damage to one of our trailer while unloading it. Initially, they assured us that they would cover the costs of the repairs, but regrettably, they failed to keep their word. When our driver witnessed the damage, he immediately reported the incident. Their representative acknowledged their responsibility and assured us that they would take care of the necessary repairs and gave him contact information of their supervisor Jeff Popovich once we know how much it would cost to repair the damage to let him know so they can reimburse us. We did as instructed, however, as time went on, it became evident that their promise was nothing more than empty words. After two weeks of numerous attempts to follow up via phone and emails and seek resolution, we got an email stating that they concluded they didn't damage our trailer. It is disheartening to see a company that initially appeared to be professional and accountable fail to live up to their commitments. Not only did BlueScope Recycling and Materials fail to fulfill their promise, but they also demonstrated a lack of communication and transparency throughout the process. We were left in the dark, constantly having to chase them for updates and clarification. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is deeply disappointing. As a result of their unfulfilled promise, we were forced to bear the financial burden of repairing the damage ourselves. We trusted BlueScope Recycling and Materials to handle our trailer with care, and their failure to take responsibility for their actions has left us feeling let down and taken advantage of. In conclusion, I cannot recommend BlueScope Recycling and Materials based on our experience. Their failure to honor their commitment to cover the damage they caused to our trailer, coupled with their lack of communication and accountability, has left us deeply dissatisfied. It is my hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering their services.

Great place to get rid of your old scrap @ make some money! The staff is great and always willing to help you unload your stuff if they aren't busy.

Easy in, easy out. Their customer system is efficient @ time saving. The first time you visit will take a few extra minutes, so you can get an account set up. Everytime after you simply hand them your license @ your account is pulled up.

On top of the friendly, helpful staff @ fast service, their average scrap price is consistently higher than competitor scrap yards in the area.

Simply put, MetalX is at the top of the board for hauling in your scrap metal.

A very good scrap yard with professional staff who know their jobs & do them well. From the buyers to dispatch to drivers to scale personnel I have had no problems from Metal-X & would recommend them to anyone in the areas they service.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was in and out quickly and didn’t have to worry about getting a flat tire because the yard area was clean and really squared away.

Nice place to load for as long as the guy isn't working the scale. He likes to talk to the drivers like they are trash that is interrupting him. Everyone one else is very friendly and professional.
