Special thanks to Briggs for the great bike, reasonable price and "island style" service. I was able to see a lot of the island from the saddle of a bike (the best way to experience any beautiful spot). Briggs made it happen. I will use them again!

Had a really good experience renting from Briggs and can highly recommend it for your Kauai trip!

The rumors of Kauai being bad for road cycling are greatly exaggerated as well! I had some very pleasant rides in the poipu area, you just need to be comfortable taking the road when you need to, and most of the roads were brand new - albeit with less than ideal shoulders.

Was super stoked to get on a real road bike and Briggs (maybe the owners name?) was super helpful getting the bike setup just how I needed it.

He was flexible on timing and was very knowledgeable about the area and cycling in general, seemed like an owner operator one man show type set up.

Overall couldn’t be happier with my experience! Meant to mention he didn’t nickle and dime on the helmet etc. See some reviews complaining about price transparency but I found it to be very transparent and straightforward

Rented a Felt Road Bike from Briggs this week. Bike came with gatorskin tires (the roads can be rough in Kauai), a repair kit saddle bag, and he gave me extra tubes and co2. (I brought my own peddles) Briggs was helpful with recommending good routes, the best ride being the climb to the the scenic overlook in Kokee State Park. Did about 180 miles in 3 days with about 14k ft of climbing. No mechanical issues, no flats, had a great time, will definitely rent from him again next time I'm visiting the island, so much easier than flying with a bike.

I rented a road bike from Briggs to do some of the local routes including the Waimea Canyon climbs. The Felt AR in size 58 was a great bike and was in top shape and rode great. It was fitted with Gatorkskin tires and they held up without a flat. I can certainly recommend their business.

This is a great little bike shop! Since we spend 4 weeks on Kauai every year, it is better for us to buy good bikes and store them instead of renting the old beach cruisers. Briggs has a really nice selection of bikes for about the same price as you would pay on the mainland. Plus when we did have a problem with one of our bikes he did an excellent job of fixing it and getting it back to us within a couple of hours. Buying a good bike from Briggs is one of the smartest things we have done to make our extended stay on Kauai the best it can be!
