To the end they told me they couldn’t take the risk to buy my clothes and if I want I can sell them in the store and they will charge me 50%? For some reason, this place attempts to brand itself as trade fashion, "buying on trend, clothing". It is clear their buyers lack the taste or training in accordance to their own buying guide. After a 25min check in process, I brought roughly 75 pieces for evaluation. Between the distracted (male?) crew member poorly dressed with an undersized halter top and $12 faux jewelry and the manager who was texting and laughing wearing a shein plaid oversized trench (oblivious to the line of sellers out the door), they spent all of 8 mins evaluating my pieces. Yes I timed it. It was clear they were uninterested, overworked and probably underpaid to a point where they simply didn't want to take the time, and rejected all of my clothes. Stating "brand, condition, and style". My response, "This is ironic, I bought most of these pieces here". The buyer looked embarrassed and asked me to point to some examples, which I obliged.

Being that this places is a glorified Goodwill, I figured best to donate my items locally. I suggest you do the same.

I’m at the store right now and the associates are very slow, chatting more than spending time working. This is my second time at Irvine location and to be honest the last one. It takes forever of waiting to get your turn and then forever of waiting to receive the result! Terrible customer service!

Talking about stock level. If they really take a minute thinking why they have so much on stock and nobody wants to buy from them because those whole decide what to buy don’t have a sense of fashion. I’ve seen they passed on so many items that’s in really good conditions and cute. And their comment is ‘it’s not on trend’. They probably should train their staffs about fashion sense.

If you're over age 35, they don't want your clothes. If your larger than a size 5, they don't want your clothes. If you bring shorts to sell in the springtime, they won't want your clothes until June. If you come back in June, they will tell you they are no longer looking for shorts and are starting to build their fall stock. They don't want vintage clothes. They don't want current styles either. It's safe to say that this is not a thrift store. They cater to a very specific customer base, and clearly that is not me! I will not be returning.
