Our tow vehicle blue ox base plate broke loose and swiveled back and forth. We are traveling and called and spoke to Tai at Dan's Service Center in Elkhart, Indiana. He said to send him pictures and he would help us out. Now this is on 21May2024 right before Memorial day weekend on a Tuesday. Long story short, Rich the technician stayed late and came in early to fix our Jeep's blue ox system. The owners son Ryan had the parts needed to replace our base plate and had a new blue ox tow bar in stock! So, everyone from Tai, Rich, and Ryan of Dan's, my wife, dog, and I SAY THANK you as you got us on the road to Custer South Dakota! Oh, they know their stuff at Dan's!

If you ask customers and manufacturers in the Elkhart area for recommendations on where to go for any hitch related issues, most if not all will say Dan’s Hitch/Dan’s Service Center and for good reason. They know what they are doing. They are knowledgeable and professional and in this writer’s opinion will do what ever they can to fix a problem even if one doesn’t have an appointment. We have used Dan’s on several occasions over the past 10 years; the most recent being yesterday. We called on Wednesday to ask if they could diagnose and hopefully fix a problem with our tow vehicle. Although we didn’t have an appointment, they found a slot for us yesterday and within an hour determined what the problem was and fixed it. One last thing about Dan’s, he is not in business to be your best friend, but he is in business to fix your problem and get you back on the road. And in this regard, the owner responds very well to a principle of patience and kindness. Show patience and kindness towards the owner and he will respond in a similar manner. That principle really does work at Dan’s.

Ryan, Stacy and the folks at Dan's are fabulous. I've been dealing with them for probably 20 years or more. Just got a set of airbags installed air lift 7500 XLs a few months ago and they did a great job. I also had mud flaps installed on my 3500 dually and again they do things well and they do them with excellence!!!
I am traveling from Naples Florida all the way up to Elkhart Indiana to have them do some things to my truck. That's how good they really are. I trust them and that's a good thing. I can't say that about many businesses I deal with

I forgot to mention that I failed to do a review on Dan's when I had these airbags installed and mud flaps installed a few months ago. So that's why I did it today. Thanks everybody and they'll take good care of you.

Was buying a low pro trailer in Milwaukee, fifth wheel hitch I brought ended up being too high.
