The couple that owns this place is so adorable. They are a very nice couple from Greece. The gentleman is very straight to the point. The lady is usually a bit more talkative and cheerful. English is not their first language so if you have trouble understanding accents, keep that in mind and try to be patient with them when you go.

The prices are fair and they do a good job with a great turnaround time. They have even made alterations I wanted even when it is against their best judgement. They always try to warn me about the possible outcome of what I am asking but if I tell them I am willing to risk it, they go ahead and do it. They are one of the only places I know of that still does on site alterations.

Some reviewers said they were told that alterations couldn't be done. Some things cannot be altered because of how they are constructed and the gentleman who usually measures you is always willing to explain and show you why something cannot be altered though you might have to ask.

I have been going to this business for many years. The couple have always been very sweet, and my alterations have been good. Unfortunately I won't be going back bc I don't like being called a thief. I dropped a skirt to be hemmed and 1 dress to be hemmed and taken in, weeks ago. I came back 8 days later with my debit card to get my items and the woman said" no more cards, cash or check". Ok, no big deal. I went 3 days later with $80.00 in cash for a bill that was 74.00 and change. She gave me a 5$ bill back. All is good I thought. I took the items and noticed the dress had chalk marks on the back. The lady was apologetic and stated she forgot to take the back in. Remember I paid in Full. I told her no problem,she gave me the hemmed skirt and I said I will b back. I went back this am after another 6 day wait and she asked for my name and phone number to find the dress. I found it hanging, said ty and have a great day. She came out to my car and asked for my original receipt. I have no idea where it is after going in and out of the establishment 3 different times. She said she didn't mark HER receipt paid. Ok, but I still paid her 75.$ cash. I stated you have to remember me, I have been here 3 times in 3 wks and each time it was something else. All she had to do was look at her deposits from last Thursday April 4th, and see I paid her 4 20$ dollars bills. I had come directly from the ATM. I always said this was a good place and mb the lady was just confused. It happens. However I have never stolen anything in my life, including from a business I frequent for at least 10 yrs! An apology would make this right, but I'm not counting on it.

I took a dress to get hemmed for a wedding and a few pieces that had holes or needed to be fitted correctly. The lady was sweet and helpful. I didn’t end up getting the dress hemmed because she said it was a perfect length. It worked out fine. She fixed the other items quickly and did a great job! Pricing was fair. Thank you!

These folks are awesome. With great trepidation, I went to them to ask if they could take in a couple of kilts since I lost a out 60 pounds since I bought them. After careful consideration and discussion with me regarding what they could and would do, they quoted a fair price and timing. I agreed, they took measurements and pinned them up, and I left with a good feeling. When I went back to try them on, they were a perfect fit, the workmanship was great, and they were ready on a timely basis and at the quoted price. I'm very impressed with their friendliness, expertise, workmanship, and ability to meet my schedule. They are now my go to for tailoring or alterations.

Took my dress here with about 2 weeks before an event to get it altered and I’m so happy with the outcome! I was nervous because I didn’t think what I needed would get done but they did it! The couple that works there are so nice, sweet and hardworking! More than Fair prices, my dress had to have a lot done to it and it was a lot less than I expected. If you are reading this review they are amazing and reliable and I 100% recommend taking anything you need fixed to their shop!

Return of the Mac

The couple who own and run this shop are super nice. They have altered/repaired several different items for me since around 2017. Most recently, they sewed a flag to my specifications (they had done this for me once before in 2020), and I couldn't be happier with the end result. They will continue to get my business.
