While Rita was very friendly and pleasant to work with, unfortunately I don't think my dress was actually hemmed. I came in for a fitting with the shoes I planned to wear. All I needed was the dress shortened. The dress was still entirely too long even with the shoes I brought to the fitting. I had to wear another pair of higher heels (which I hadn't really wanted to do), otherwise the dress was still dragging on the ground all the way around. I paid for a rush job and was super appreciative that she was able to get me in, unfortunately I just don't think my $ was well spent for the job I needed this time.

She hemmed my wedding dress. She was able to do what another seamstress told us could not be done. I'm grateful, and the dress was beautiful. However, her timing was terrible! Tell her you need it at least a couple weeks ahead of when you actually do. My first round of alterations was done 10 days before my wedding despite being told it would be ready a month and a half out when I dropped off the dress. My mother's dress was done 2 days before the wedding with no time for a second round of alterations.
