It was like visiting an old friend and catching up, although you'd never met before. After accepting the challenge to play an instrument, the owner and craftsman came out of the shop to visit and answer our questions on the history of the Dulcimer. What an amazing lil place to stop by! I always thought they just had music stuff, but they have the coolest gift shop! Camping items, books and toys for littles, stuff for young adults, mom, dad and the grands! The staff are fantastic and will help you learn how to play a song even!

I have been on the hunt for a while for a bass dulcimer for my grandfather for his birthday and so glad I finally came across this wonderful business. I’m a few states away so everything was handled over the phone. The woman assisting me was SO helpful and knowledgeable and helped me pick out the perfect dulcimer for my grandfather. The shipping was fast and it arrived in pristine condition! The dulcimer is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and sounds great! I’m so pleased with my purchase and I know my grandfather will love it. The luthiers in the Dulcimer Shoppe are some of the most talented I have seen. They were able to add 10 extra frets to my sons spaulted sycamore dulcimer so now my son can perform leads in all keys. Sounds great! They completed the work in a couple days!
