This man is rude, impatient, and unprofessional. All I asked him to do was to repair 2 seams on each boot that had come unstitched. He gave me 2 different dates for the repair being finished and missed them both, even though they were several weeks apart. When I finally got my boots back, the stitching was abhorrent. They weren't straight in the slightest, he didn't even complete one side, and he didn't even put one of the flaps back in its proper spot, so now there's an open hole where water can just pour straight down into my toes. Absolutely Garbage job, and an utter waste of $30 for such a simple job. I could do a better job.

We are soooo thrilled to find on "old fashioned" shoe repair shop up here in the mountains!! We were hard pressed to find one convenient in Phoenix!! ‍? Ed is a "one man band" who knows his stuff and naturally is overloaded with work & "life"!! He was able to repair our Packer boots that I can't even buy the same style ANYWHERE since COVID and that I'dbeentold numerous times "couldn't be fixed". He explained clearly my options & was upfront with us that he would do his best but couldn't guarantee a fix. We went with his offer and are thrilled we'll at least get another season (maybe more!) out of them. We would definitely recommend him & will be back with more shoes/boots that we haven't been able to get fixed If you want perfection, buy a new pair of shoes that will fall apart anyway, ... otherwise he's your guy for the best job possible ?

Took almost a month to get mine and my son's boots back. Lasted about a month sole started to peel away. Took them back, and he fixed them in another two weeks. About another month, they fell apart again. Would not recommend this man, even though he is the only shoe repair on the mountain.

I came on here tonight just to see if he was still in business, as he did an excellent repair job on my husband's Ariat boots a few years back...and now he needs them done again. I'm so happy and relieved that it appears that he is still in business. And seeing that seems to be the case, I really wanted to bump up his review rating, because he absolutely deserves it. I can't wait to bring a beloved purse of mine to see if he can fix that, too. Anyone and everyone of us who has been blessed by his excellent handiwork should spread the word about him, because he is the only cobbler I know of in the area...and he is such a valuable asset to our beloved White Mountain community! My only regret is that I didn't leave a 5 star review for him sooner. And, BTW, his prices are MORE than fair!!

Absolute disaster. Ruined two pairs of dress shoes that cost me $500 a pair. Recently took two pairs of the same brand shoe to The Cobblers Den in Scottsdale. Make a trip to the valley and save yourself the headache. I hope maybe they can fix the shoes that Ed did such a crappie job on.

THIS INCOMPETANT JERK COULDN'T EVEN FIX A SIMPLE SIDE ZIPPER,RUINING AN OTHERWISE USEFUL PAIR OF FIELD BOOTS.

NOPE,THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.
