In desperate need of some new workout shoes, I was provided this place to try. My current shoes are about 2 years old and were great in the beginning, but they slowly turned on me, causing much foot and ankle pain. Like my experience at the New Balance store, the young lady who helped me asked me some questions about my previous pair and any issues I was struggling with. After trying on several different brands and models of shoes, I finally found the gold mine of comfort. I have a wide foot and decided to size up half a size from before since I always felt I didn't have enough wiggle room. Also purchased the inserts for arch support, and the shoes felt amazing. Great experience!!! 👍

Extra Mile Fitness!

I was so frustrated with trying to find the right shoe for my feet. Years of pounding the floor for work reeked havoc on my poor feet.

I had a shoe that supposedly was the one of the best leading contenders on the market but over time, it started to fail me.
When I pressed professionals for their opinion on the fit of said shoe, they all responded with "great shoe for you". Turns out it wasn't at all.

Enter "Extra Mile Fitness Company"!
I walked in with an interest in Brooks Shoes as I had been researching the possibilities and was very impressed with all the reviews.

I was approached by a woman whom I later found out was the owner of the business. She started out by measuring my foot. Incidentally, my feet were different sizes, but she knew exactly what to do. She brought out a few sizes and models of Brooks shoes with varying widths. One by one we tried them all, but the magic happened when the right fit was put on my feet. Then, the owner had me take a walk and on my return, she put up a mirror in front of my feet to show me
how they looked.

Surprisingly, the new shoe was quite a bit lower by the heel. Bingo! The arch of my old shoe was way high for my feet. Even though I complained to others that I believed the heel was too high off the ground, no one agreed. Well, except

My new Brooks felt so great I wore them for hours on the first day. Weeks into this, I am still extremely happy with the fit of these shoes.

I went to Extra Mile for the first time on Sunday 08/11/24. Prior to my visit, I went to see a podiatrist and brooks and hokas were suggested to me, as well as extra mile. My boyfriend went with me. I believe, Jodi, helped me. She was super nice, super friendly, super helpful, and super knowledgeable. She measured both feet, watched how I walked, taught me the proper way to lace up shoes, what to look for in a shoe, said I shouldn't feel anything and that it should just feel like an extension of my foot. She had me try on 3 different brands. The first pair was like walking on a cloud, they were brooks ghost, then i tried on hoka clifton, and then asics (i dont remember the exact model). They have a treadmill to walk on as well if you want to try the shoes while walking on that to get a better feel. As I was trying on shoes, my boyfriend decided he might want to try some on. I asked her if she was ok with that as I didn't want her to be or feel overwhelmed. She was more than happy to help both of us at the same time, and she did wonderful with multitasking with us! Although my boyfriend didn't buy any shoes, he did find a pair he liked. I bought the Brooks Ghost shoes in a women's 10.5. Jodi told me to wear them, walk in them, live in them, do all the things, make sure they feel good, and if they don't, they have a 30 day return policy on full price shoes. Wonderful experience!!! I will definitely be going back, and I'll definitely be asking for Jodi specifically 🙂 10/10, 5 stars, all good things! 🙂

Libby is a great customer service rep. She was full of so much knowledge and really took her time with me. She measured my feet and stood back and observed how I walk so she could find the best fit for my situation. She knew which shoes that I should stay away from and brought out 7 different pairs for me to try on until I found the most comfortable pair. I will never buy another pair of shoes ever again. Excellent store! I ordered a pair of Hoka’s from their website that were sold out in my size everywhere else. The shipping was very quick - I received the shoes within two days of ordering. They even included a nice note in the box thanking me for my order. Thank you Extra Mile Fitness Company!

I bought a pair of Hoka’s about 3 months ago and there was to believe a manufacturer issue. I called and was told to come in but most likely I would have to contact Hoka. I arrived the next day and the supervisor was super understanding and kind. She replaced my shoes with no hesitation and I still can’t get over how unbelievably kind that was because I cannot afford another pair. I will be recommending everyone to come here!
