I came to try on shoes after physical therapy for my feet, but I was there for 15 mintues and nobody greeted me or asked if I needed help. Finally the lady at the front desk looked at me with a weird face on, and asked what I needed. SO RUDE! When I explained my medical needs surrounding my feet and shoe needs, she showed me a product that was the opposite of what I described. BYE

I went to this specialty shop for information and education to allow me to purchase the best products for my feet.
The environment is pleasant, I was greeted by a saleswoman shortly after I arrived.
She was pleasant, I explained my concern, she felt I needed a shoe with arch support to help relieve my foot pain.
I hoped to gain an understanding of what type of both athletic and casual flats might be most appropriate.
She brought several pairs of casual shoes, I suggested a pair of sneakers, this is a big decision.
I found the selection of casual shoes did not work for me but did give me a place to start next time. I was ready to decide on the sneakers, by this time she was done with me. She told me the color I wanted, white was not possible, she showed little or no interest in educating me about the difference in brands and how they may be beneficial or not for my purpose. The last pair i asked for she did not help me try on.
Once I insisted on having he see if the pair i wanted could be ordered she did and announced "I'm out of here" I asked if she was done for the day, she said no I need to eat lunch, I'm diabetic.
And off she went.
If she needed to go she could have asked someone else to help me as I felt I was being rushed to make a decision.
I will not return to this store. I will not continue with the order, I will cancel.

So, after discovering the store I had purchased my last two pairs of shoes has closed down and having stopped at half a dozen stores yesterday and finding nothing but poorly fitting shoes, I finally ended up here. This is because my mother-in-law suggested it... she is awesome!
Anyway, I walked inside and was quickly greeted by Mark who was able to make some corny jokes, measure both my feet. In no time he asked me what I needed & it was determined I was interested in buying two shoes as well as my use and style. He brought out a couple of options (color and style variations) that fit me very well...
We went over the price and realizing it was right in line with what I paid at my old shoe store, I agreed to buy them and was out of there in no time very happy with my purchase and with the fact that I have a new shoe store.
Worth mentioning here is the fact that these are top shelf shoes and not some pleather garbage that fits poorly and are uncomfortable. These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. If you are having a problem finding shoes in your size, I recommend checking out this place.
As they say, If the shoe fits, it's from Footprints...
Mark is the real deal, a true shoe salesman that knows his stuff and gave me the service I expected.

I traveled to this place because im told it has a huge selection of different brands of shoes. My foot is wide and I need stable shoes. It's not an easy combination to have. Came in and started looking right away. A woman asked if i needed help. I said yes. A gentleman came over and was my shoe helper the entire time. He got the shoes I wanted, and you sat down, and they put the shoe on for you. For someone who has a difficult time putting on shoes, it was so nice to have the help. Great experience. He was their the whole time for me to find the right shoe for me. Then my boyfriend decided he wanted a pair too, the same thing he got his own helper. Love that. ❤️ Finally, we found the right shoes. The two men and the woman made sure we had a great experience and said goodbye. Ya, that doesn't happen anywhere, lol. Especially at a shoe store. Usually cannot find someone to help you. I'd definitely recommend this place and come back again. The shoes are pricey, but you honestly pay for what you get. I got a blk, wide, sturdy pair. It's not the prettiest, but at this point, I don't care. It's all about comfort.

I’ve purchased multiple pairs of kitchen/safety shoes from this company over the last 15 years. On my last visit they did not have my usual brand (Berki) that I’ve gotten for my last 3 pairs. So I went with a Dansko. They did not have the clog /flat style so I went with a heeled kitchen shoe. Within 3 shots I had severe blisters and back pain. When I went to return/exchange them today, citing the discomfort I was told they’re “damaged” because they have some surface dirt on them and they were worn and they would not assist further. Horrible service from start to finish this trip capped off with lack of empathy or willingness to make right a poor sale. Company has gone down hill DRASTICALLY

Shoes are excellent, for actual customer service work with the women in the back or on the wings. Avoid the rude men who are too arrogant and pretenious to lift a finger or offer a customer a greeting.

My friend, highly recommended I go get shoes from Footprints. I work at Hartford Hospital. My job requires lots of lifting, walking on hard cement and being on my feet for 8 hours at a time. The staff has been great, the three times, i have been there. Getting me what i need. They have made recommendations on getting other items, which i couldn't afford at that time, but didn't push me to buy. Having worked in retail for over 10 years, it is great seeing those who work on commission, not pushing customer's to buy something, they can't afford. I highly recommend them to all my co workers. They even offer a 20% discount if you work in the medical field and show a work badge.
