Used DIY longarming service for first time this week and it was great! Ruth was a great teacher and encouraged me so that I was able to complete most steps by myself by the end of my project. Studio is clean and well lit. I had been hesitant to complete larger projects because I did not know how I would ever be able to quilt them nicely on my own. I have been having my tops quilted with Forever for the last couple of years. Her work is extra ordinary and beautiful when completed. I don't remember how I first heard of the shop, but I now travel to Bluffton, OH, from Fremont, OH to drop off and then to pick up the finished item. The round trip takes about 3 hours and is time well spent. I am especially impessed by the fact that she knows if a bobbin is holding enough thread to make another complete pass across the top. She and her husband spend time with their customers in choosing batting, if needed, thread colors and stitching patterns. She is efficient and prompt with her work. She will also let you know when you drop off a top about how long it will take or how many orders are in front of yours. She calls with questions before proceeding and the results are awesome. If you choose to use her services, be sure to have her trim your quilt after it is stitched (It is only $5). I know I have no space big enough to do that and it lets me start on the binding as soon as I get home. Kudos for a wonderful service! Thank you!
