If you have ever been to a quality Golf Galaxy (haven’t been to a bad one) then you know exactly what to expect. Great customer service, the best and widest range of golf apparel, shoes, bags, clubs and simulator bays for practice or fittings.
One of the major complaints I saw is that there is only 1 head pro that can be trusted with club fittings. Finding licensed Pros is not an easy task and it is very common for golf stores to have one main pro. There are plenty of other staff that can help you with simple club suggestions and simulator work but if you plan on doing a full fit; ask for the head pro.
Overall: Nothing better than a brand new Golf Galaxy.

Stay clear of their club service center. While the staff has always been friendly, there is only one guy in there I trust to work on clubs and he is usually to busy with customers and fittings.

I have had 2 incidents now where the quality of work is just sad. Ferrules aren’t anywhere close to flush, epoxy in the adapter teeth, failed length cuts, and misaligned shaft positions have happened on both experiences. They have fixed both to a point, but it’s frustrating. Stick with the local experts (Golf Plus, Tom Howard’s, Tee Time).

This last experience came in the form of a 2 iron swap. I asked for a new shaft I brought in to be tipped an inch, have an inch cut off the butt section, and aligned with the pink sharpie mark ( I had given them) so my settings were correct with the graphics of the club (I was swapping a 2 iron shaft out to a 5 wood pulled shaft). When I got it back it wasn’t tipped, wasn’t cut in the butt section, the ferrule looks like it was put on with a hammer, and everything, including the grip, was misaligned. Glue all over the head and shaft of the club to boot.

Like I said, I have been treated well in both cases, but I can’t get past the lack of quality and care in the service center. I paid my $17 dollars for the service and walked out. I’m dropping the 2 iron off at Tee Time to have everything fixed.

Again, I wouldn’t suggest using the service center to do any work here. I would highly suggest corporate get involved with some training for the men in the service center. I’m no expert. I take my clubs to places like this to be worked on, as I’m not a professional, but the work I have paid for is just pathetic.

Store was clean and tables looked folded. No one asked how we were. The restroom was a mess for both females and my bf said the mens had urine all over the floor. The toilet paper holder is below your knees too low to ground and doesn’t turn. Very difficult to get toilet paper to wipe. Thankfully one of the stalls had a roll sitting out for someone to hand over. Otherwise I would still be there all day fighting to get toilet paper out. They need new dispensers and replaced higher up !
