The work is good and I’m happy with the fix but based on reviews I thought that the price would be a bit more reasonable. Over $20 for literally two stitches on new shoes. It is partially my fault for not getting the price beforehand but it just seems like a lot for that and I only paid $50 for the shoes so had I known I would have passed on that or hand stitched them myself. I have a lot of shoes that need small fixes like this that would also take less than 5 mins but I will have to go elsewhere due to price.

I took my leather laptop bag in to get the handle fixed. The customer service was awesome. Not only did he fix the broken handle, but he also reinforced the others so the damage is less likely to happen. 12 of my Wife and I's western boots have been improved here. I bring them, brand new boots to have oil resistant soles put on, and used boots to have them restored to better than new. I found a steal of deal on a pair of $ 600.00 EXOTIC Boots, in Missouri, that were too tight for me. I brought them to Hakky's, and in less than 2 hours, he stretched them, installed elastic along the inside seam of Boots and placed oil resistant & non-slip soles, on those boots. They fit perfect, look great and feel like slippers. My tired feet become happy and my wallet is pleased too. I return to Hakky often. From shoes and repairs, to the quality insoles they sell at decent prices, they always do me right. I walk in worn out & a little while later, I am Boot Scootin and boogie'n on out for a song.

My 1st time here! They did an outstanding job at my not so usual request. I just bought these boots and loved them...except....they were too snug at the top shaft. I asked if they could cut into the shaft of the boot and add some elastic. 5 days later it was done. Looks professional, double stitching as requested and re-enforced it. Before and after pix. Dominic put a new leather sole on my boots, new rubber heel, and polished and waterproofed them. He did it all in front of me while I waited and he took care of several other customers too. His work and customer service is the best!

I came home to the horror of my dog using my left Yeezy as a chew toy. Though the damage wasn't terrible, the shoes were too much of an investment to not take any action.

I immediately called Hakky, told them the situation, and the fellow who I was on the phone with guaranteed me that they could do something about it.

I brought it in, showed him the damage, and $16 and three hours later my shoe looked leagues better than what it did when I brought it in.

Though my shoe has still a little extra character, I cannot overstate the help that Hakky provided me!
