Edit: I saw reviews regarding coming close to closing time and getting the vibe like they were an inconvenience. Last night at 545(15 minutes before closing time) I called and asked if it would be a problem if I showed up 5 minutes before closing because today is Thanksgiving and I knew they would be closed and I really wanted to get a reel. They obliged and in no way put out a vibe that made me feel un welcomed. I got what I needed and they ended up closing shop 20 minutes later than when they really close. These are the little things that make Handlers my go to place for fishing gear. Everyone who works there has the knowledge and great customer service to help you with whatever you need. This business always gets my support. The owner and all the workers are great.

Extremely knowledgeable staff. It's probably the best in the area. Very well stocked store. They have everything you need when it comes to fishing. My goto fishing supply store in merrit island area. We found Handler on Google maps before our vacation to cocoa beach. Me and my brother are avid fly fisherman from out west with no salt experience. They have a guide, Captain Rick Worman, who truly is the most experienced fly guide on the Indian and Banana rivers. Despite our lack of skill/experience chasing fish on the fly, we had countless opportunities at tarpon, drum, and snook all day long with some amazing fish in the net. Rick’s knowledge, passion, and attitude is a privilege to be around and I cannot wait for the next opportunity to chase some tail!!!

Thanks to Adrian and his staff for helping us have fun on the water. The products they sell and the education they provide on using those products are excellent. I wish all businesses can provide this type of service. Thanks for the yo-yo setup for sending fish back to the deep. Worked great for half the price and no need for a fishing rod or setting the depth in the device. Big thanks!!!

I have to tell you the owner and staff here are very knowledgeable and willing to share their wisdom!
The team was very good at selling me exactly what I needed and did not load me down with unnecessary overpriced items.
Once I told the salesman my overall budget, he was very conscious of the request and packed my tackle box accordingly.

Excellent service and knowledgeable. Highly recommend checking them out for rod set ups, line spooling and tying and their leaders and lures. May be a little pricey but worth it.
