Harness Boot Company is on the square in Harrison, Arkansas, and it is a treat. As soon as you open the door of this old, established hometown store, the smell of natural leather envelopes you. I am a newly relocated artist, and I make countless trips out into wilderness destinations in the Ozarks. After my first expedition, I realized that I was in snake country and that I quickly needed to locate some snake boots. By absolute miracle, I discovered the Harness Boot Company, along with its expert but friendly staff. I told a salesperson what I needed and why, and in no time, she had me laced into a fine pair of LaCrosse snake venom boots. Now they are my favorite boots for all types of work and just for rummaging around. I am sharing photos of other boots and shoes that I bought at harness. All are major brands and 100% leather--including Lacrosse, Laredo, Ariat, Timberland, Merrell, Sonora, etc.

I walked in just to browse, prepared to buy if anything caught my eye. I didn't see anything I particularly liked but got my foot sized anyhow and tried on a few things that might work for me. I didn't end up liking any of the fits but the selection was huge! They didn't just have boots but all kinds of shoes for everyone. My kids have boots from here that have lasted a good long time now. The sales ladies are kind, don't mind if you're there to look, don't pressure you, and genuinely want to help you if you have a need. Small town shopping at its best!

I was in and out in no time. I hadn't bought a pair of boots in a very long time. I was greeted at the door and assured help. I went on back and looked around. By the time I had found some pairs I was interested in, I was met and catered to exclusively. I got the right size, the right width, with padded insoles added. This is hands down the best boot store I have ever visited. Spent weeks looking for boots as I was traveling through AR, MO, and OK. That includes stores in Stockyard City in Oklahoma City. Couldn’t find the right look, selection, or price. It is here in Harrison! EXCELLENT selection of dress and work boots. All of the workbook brands are the ones I have always bought for their quality. The prices are better than can be found anywhere. I’ll never need another shoe store. Thanks Harness.
