If you like terrible customer service, and boots that fall apart this is the store for you. They will happily take your money. But the minute you have an issue. It's like pulling teeth to get help. I bought the meindl eureka boots. Not even 3 weeks of work and it started delaminating. As far as I know Hoffman takes the meindl boot, puts there own sole on them and puts a safety toe in it, so the work that they did is what's falling apart, you think they would get back to you about warranty lol..... no. They done disappeared like a fart in the wind. My redwing boots lasted wayyyyy longer. Not impressed.

First and last boots I buy from Hoffman and a shame since I was looking at a second pair. I bought the meindl san ramons for work (I spend most of my time in the job office). I called before buying and the woman seemed cagey when I asked about warranty. She said boots don’t really need warranty because people who have issues are just using them way more than is typical which is clearly what she is coached to say. I live in Alaska so its not like I can easily ship them back if there is an issue. The sizes on their meindl boots are not marked as Euro sizes but thats what they are so they were a size too big. After almost 3 months, I start feeling something weird in the toe and the liner is coming off inside and sticking into the toe box. I call them up and get told the only way they can tell me if my boots will get warrantied is if I can email them a picture or send the boots back. She couldn’t just say “yeah, boots with failing liners can be warrantied”. No answer from either of the two emails, no answer on the phone, and now my 90 days expires over the weekend while they’re closed. I see why they get a bad reputation.

Son purchased a pair of boots. Wore them around house to determine fit and comfort was accurate. Wore to work and was the most uncomfortable boot he ever wore. I called company - knowing their return policy was boot had to be unworn - but i was seeking any advice as to options since boots were close to $400. From the start the representative was rude and clearly was uninterested in anything i had to say. I see a lot of good reviews for this company and maybe it was just my luck to get a rude and disinterested service rep. We’ll be moving on to another company that backs their customers and product.

This was my first time shopping here and they were very helpful. I have wide feet and it's hard to find the correct fit. They went through a few options for me. Turned out correct ones for me were still being built. They checked the fit for me and bumped up their production to the front of the line so they could be completed while I went to lunch. I've only worn them for 2 days but they are everything I expected and more. I will definitely continue shopping here.

I decided to drive up to Hoffman Boots Store in Kellogg to try and pick up a pair of Pac boots. Once at the store I was met by Will. I told him I did not know much about the Pac boots but I wanted a set for hunting and walking in the snow. I explained to him that I wanted ankle support. He spent quite a bit of time with me picking out samples for me to try on and explaining options that they could build for me. I settled on a style and options and I asked if they could build them that day? He brought out Deborah who was very nice. She explained the materials that they had on hand and what she could build for me. After some discussion we ended up with a style to be built. My wife and I headed for breakfast. When we got back to the store the Pac boots were done and ready for pick up. I had wonderful service from Will and Deborah and am enjoying the finished product. I should say that while I was discussing Pac boots my wife saw a set of hiking boots that she could not live without. Once again Will stepped in to show her some of the available options and to pick out boots in her size. This was a wonderful buying experience and I would recommend them in the future. Thank you guys.

I ordered the Womens Armor Pro Caulk boot in size 6. They fit really well and are very comfortable when walking on steep slopes. I wear size 6 Kenetrex Women's Mountain Extreme; the size 6 Armor Pro Caulk fits similarly, in my opinion.

My kitten likes the box they came in.

My husband took his HOFFMAN boots into their store for repair which they had originally said they could do a complete rebuild when necessary.
A couple weeks later, I picked up the boots and they looked like garbage. They charged $120.00 for the repairs and then wouldn't stand behind the repairs when the boots started falling apart (with mild use) less than 3 weeks later. They made multiple excuses and didn't even want to help my husband when he attempted to get the situation rectified.
We have always tried to support local business, but will purchase the next pair of boots elsewhere.
