I have stayed at this property twice and will keep returning whenever I'm in the area. The only drawback is that there is no elevator, but that is easy to fix by bringing luggage that is easier to navigate the stairs with. The staff makes you feel like family. One of the staff there cleared my car from the snow before I left for the day! A very good restaurant, Olive Branch, is connected to the hotel. The beds are so comfortable!

Always have such a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Greenfield. Very friendly staff, rooms are large and beds very comfortable. During Christmastime, they do such nice things for room: Christmas mugs, glasses, hand towels and the lobby always decorated so nice. Love staying here

Fantastic hotel with lots of history. It's only convenient for those needing to stay in Greenfield, but if there was ever a need I highly recommend. The rooms are clean and well kept, the lobby has been wonderfully retro-fit to match the stylings of the orginal joint, and the (small but stocked) bar was open til 2:00 AM! Can't wait to stay there again.

My wife and I chose to travel to Greenfield from Des Moines to stay at the Hotel Greenfield for her birthday present. I had previously been at the hotel for a meeting four or five years ago. Our stay was very good. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The hotel and its' accommodations are simple, with elements of Prairie style and features such as mounted photography from Greenfield's past. The gift shop at the nearby Warren Cultural Center -- the old opera house -- offers a variety of items.

We stayed at Hotel Greenfield when we came to town to go to the swap meet and visit friends. Our room was beautiful with big, beautiful furniture, a vanity that served us more than properly, a bathroom with privacy that was comfortable to use and the whole place was quiet. I can’t say enough about how clean the room was and the bed! The bed was the most amazing bed we have slept on! It was soft enough to make you feel like you are home yet it was firm enough that you didn’t feel the other person move. I am going to be on the lookout for a bed just like that! Thank you, Hotel Greenfield and staff, for the best sleep we have had in years. If I had to say anything bad about our stay it was the fact there wasn’t an elevator. After walking at the swap meet for hours, I didn’t know if we were going to make it up to the third floor!!! We will be back again!

I spent my birthday at the hotel and had a blast! Definitely check this place out; the staff was amazing, the bed was so comfortable, and the decor was beautiful!
