Had a series of kite, kitefoil, and wing lessons with Will. Totally worth it! Instructor Will had all the right gear ready and waiting for each lesson. We sailed out of 3 different launches pending the wind and the waves. He was very knowledgeable and skilled in all three disciplines and made sure I had the best experience in each one. He kept in communication verbally or with the radio helmet whenever appropriate without saying more than necessary. He made the whole experience as fun as possible and I was able to go out in conditions that would have been a little too much for me on my own, Exceptional Instruction!
Patti was in touch via phone, text, and email all throughout the process. She was easy to get in touch with and was very patient with all of my questions. She made the scheduling, logistics/locations, and gear setup a breeze. I was able to try new kites and wings in addition to a great selection of boards. I am a heavyweight but my own 5m wing was too big on the days we winged so I ended up on a 4m and could have gone even smaller!

I've had 2 wingfoiling lessons with HST with two instructors (Chris and Art). Both were excellent. Having never tried the sport before, they were patient and knowledgeable on how to assist a first timer like myself get up on the board.
Patti and the team were also very flexible and accomodating on the lesson times as the wind was not cooperative at the beginning.
I would highly recommend HST.

I had a great wingfoiling lesson with instructor Will in the Kahului Harbor. Was able to try a couple of different foil boards and wings. This made a huge difference in dialing in the right equipment for the conditions and my skill level. Having the instructor right beside me also on a wingfoiling setup allowed me to mimic the demonstrated techniques as well as receive verbal tips on the fly.

As an East Coaster, had always dreamed of wing foiling Kanaha Beach. I have intermediate winging skills at best.

Went out with Will on a pretty windy day. Great guy, relaxed and made sure I had fun. Talked me into riding swell and provided insightful pointers on my jibes and other skills. Will took me out at the windsurfing beach which was forgiving from a reef standpoint and less crowded from the nearby winging beach.

Although it was a lesson, I felt like I was having a great session with a buddy. Left with greater confidence and the hope of coming
back to this winging Mecca of a beach!

Alan Cadiz is a master of the sport and an exceptional teacher. I strongly recommend a lesson with him if you ever get the chance. Wired for sound so he gives you advice in real time while foiling behind you. A great experience and I'll be coming back. Thanks Alan and Patti.

The booking process was easy and Patti was truly accommodating. Chloe, our instructor was super sweet and after I shared what I had learned (and didn’t learn) on my last beginner’s class 12 years ago, she gave me specific pointers to help out. My only tip is to perhaps wear the water shoes they offer (free) as there are some scattered rocks in the shallow part of the cove. They may help and if they don’t, you can always take them off!

Awesome experience taking lessons with this company! My instructor Stuart was super knowledgeable, patient, personable and helpful! Pattie was helpful with organizing the lessons appropriately to the wind and waves. I had 4 lessons and was able to get up and ride for periods at the end of day 3! Would highly recommend using this company!
