We can go anywhere right now, Roswell, Alamogordo, Carrizozo. Walk into any one of the thrift shops, say you’re from Ruidoso and they welcome you with open arms. They tell you to take anything you need. I called ahead to the thrift shop by the humane society. They said yes please come here. We get there. The kids found a few things. We walked up to the counter, oh you’re fire victims you can’t have that stuff you have to go dig in the back room. My own village just turned their back on me. Ruidoso is NOT what it used to be. I’m grateful for all the help my family has gotten. This was heartbreaking. I have donated, adopted, purchased from this store. Never again. Received a blanket “apology” explanation that just made it worse.

This thrift store is alright. Some stuff is reasonable and some stuff they forget they're a thrift store. They wanted $20 for an Xhilaration (Target brand) pleather women's jacket with very visible wear on the shoulders, scratches, peeling away, etc. Hard pass. But I did get a couple tops for my 14 month old for 50¢ a piece and a booster seat for the dinner table for $4. Just have to go and look, kinda hit or miss.

Shopping here is pretty groovy. You can find some awesome stuff there, and the funds go to the fur babies to keep them feed, housed and have warm beds. So everyone should shop there and find some groovy stuff that you might just need 😉

Very expensive for a thrift store, the quality of item was not better than any other thrift store. And I thrift a lot for resale purposes online. They had a cute cute jacket though I tried it on and I couldn't figure out why the employee the manager was staring at me the way she was and when I got out of my car at my hotel my jacket was on inside out so rather than say something to me they let me walk around like that and looked at me I thought it was not very nice I wouldn't recommend this store to people the Roswell humane society thrift store is way friendlier and I found a full length wool coat in there for $5 not 100 like they wanted for their phone vegan suede.

Used to be tops but has only a fourth or less of merchandise that in previous 3-4 years have been going there . My dependable sources say they are throwing out saleable items while shelves go empty. This will put them out of business no matter what mistaken ideas they may have & I hope senior management notes how sales have fallen off before too late. By the way they are on south side of hwy 70 not the north.

Nothing on the shelves and prices way too high this was disappointing but to be fair to keep their doors open locals need to donate and show support for this cause. I did find a few treasures so they just need more support from everyone please donate people don't just throw it away someone somewhere needs it or thinks they do!! Recycle repurpose reuse pay it forward

I have always had the worse customer service at the Humane Society Resale shop, yet I continued going. I know the loss of my contribution to their store won’t hurt them, but I refuse to go into that shop anymore and be treated horribly. The employees there are just in a bad mood on a daily!!

Shelves were bare, not much to choose from. Some nice furniture. Difficult spot to find; Google maps had us going all over.
