Before writing this review, I checked out what others had to say and was delighted to see that many people shared my experience. It’s reassuring to know that my positive encounter wasn’t an exception but seemingly the standard here.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Idaho Mountain Trading Company, to rent some bikes for the Snake River triathlon, and couldn't be more impressed. The team in the rentals department was incredibly friendly, making the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, ie. patch kit for flats, appropriate helmet, and sizing the bikes to our bodies.

Not only were the employees fantastic, but the prices were also the best I could find for a pair of beautiful bikes, Trek Domanes. I mean, these things look like hot rods; even if I’m not going fast, at least I’ll feel like I look like I am.

I'm so glad that businesses like Idaho Mountain Trading Company exist. They’ve earned this review, and I hope that it does something to help them to continue to do what they do so well. I urge anyone to step in to the store and see for themselves what I am talking about. For me, it was a rare experience, and was so pleased that I felt the need to sit down immediately after leaving the store and let others know.

I love Idaho Mountain Trading. I come here for all my outdoor needs, and I love to support a local business. They sell high quality and reliable gear. The owner is very nice, and is genuinely interested in what we’re doing and where we are going. The whole staff is knowledgeable in their respective area and super helpful. I’ve always been happy with my experience and purchases here.

Went in to check out some ski leases & some ski pants. I was pleased with the service from Glen in rentals even with difficult feet situations.
Turns out they were out of the sizes we needed, and offered other possible solutions to our needs without pressure or pushing.

It was a great experience, despite not being able to find boots.

Update: this place just keeps getting better. Staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. I love the fact that this shop exists in my town.

Shout out to the staff here, they weee incredibly helpful and so kind! We had such a great and easy experience finding mountain bikes for my bf and I. LOVE this place. We will definitely be back!
I am unsure how to spell her name but Nesi (I’m so sorry) but she was very knowledgeable about bikes and helped us through the whole bike choosing process! She was/is amazing!!

This is the best place to buy snowboarding gear in my opinion! They have a great selection. And even better than that the staff is super helpful and very happy to help you! Snowboarding and ski gear is expensive and they still keep the items reasonably priced! Five stars all around
