I have been going there for years. They are fast, thorough and the doctor is super cute. I dont think iv ever been there more than 30-45 minutes all together. The pretty lady that helped me pick out my frames narrowed down the options for me and the look always turns out great. The new glasses are always ready for pick up within 2 weeks and they remind you. Very friendly as well.

Dr Alletto was very thorough and knowledgeable. Technician was great. Front office staff were loud and gossiped. They sent my appt notes and exam that Dr Alletto had just done to my previous eye Dr instead of sending the records release. I felt that it was unprofessional and embarrassing. When I addressed it the staff laughed. Not a good first impression.

I had no problem with my exam or any part of my visit. I did a couple of months later. I received a bill for something that I thought I'd paid for the day of my exam. So I called to ask about it. The girl was not helpful at all and hung up on me. I was not being anything but nice. When I called back, she refused to talk to me. So I briefly spoke with a different girl. Still hadn't been told why I owed them. Finally, after the weekend, I talked to another lady, and she said I hadn't paid, and because I didn't have the receipt, I had no proof. So I paid it. This lady didn't want to hear how I'd been treated. Just said they were short staffed. Well, anytime over the past several years, they had usually had 2 people on the desk, I talked to two people that day. Humm. Anyway, make sure you keep your receipt from there when you pay cash for anything!!

My minor daughter went for contacts. They charged 60 to 80 bucks to measure her eyes. It didn't happen last year. So why this year. And lost all her Info on the computer. What a joke! She has been going there for almost 10 years. And all of a sudden don't have her Info? Wouldn't take my card over the phone. I had to leave work to go there. We will NOT be back!!

Great experience at IEC in Centerville, IA. Wonderful staff! Very helpful and friendly! Dr Daniel Alletto is a great well educated doctor! They have state of the art equipment to test your eyes. We love going there!

High prices - $235 for a contact exam (not a new wearer). This would be okay if their service was worth anything.

High pressure - They will sit you across from a sales person the moment you walk out of the exam room

Low quality office service - once your card has been charged - they will not care about you, at all!

I want to first say that Dr. Guinn was great! If she moved to another office, I would want to see her, again. They did not have the contacts that matched the prescription - so, Dr. Guinn kindly provided a "temporary" pair of 30-day lenses for me to use, until they could get trial lenses for me.

After leaving the exam room with Dr. Guinn, I was immediately sat at a desk across from a sales person. This person started to upsell me on glasses - even though I had already said I only wanted contacts. This person then tried to get me to order contacts through them, even before I got to try the trials. Thankfully, I declined. I left without any prescription under the guise that I would be receiving trial contacts very soon.

Move forward 30-days. I have not heard ANYTHING back from this office. My "temporary" contacts are now at their max of 30-days. So, I called the office to inquire about the "trials" that were supposed to be there --- they still haven't received them.

They offered ZERO information on when they might be in, or if they will ever come in. They had no solution for the fact that the "temporary" contacts should no longer be worn.

Could you imagine if I had paid to order contacts with their sales associate? I would be out several hundred more dollars without any idea of when I'd actually receive the contacts that I ordered.

I do not recommend. I will be picking up my prescription today and order contacts from somewhere else.
