Great shop! Greg, Grant and Denise were great to work with. We decided to do some last minute MTB riding on Goatman Trail. Greg got us set up over the phone the afternoon before, picked the bikes up at 9:30 the next morning and did a few loops on The Big Island's answer to Moab's Slick Rock. Had a nice snack at one of picnic tables in the shade on the beach at Kekaha Kai in between loops. Nice view!! The Fuel EX8's were set up perfectly for us and worked flawlessly. Thanks for the fantastic service!!

I can’t recommend these guys enough. I emailed them back in June about having them build my road bike that I was having shipped to the island. Immediately, they were extremely responsive and helpful. When I got to the island last week, they were phenomenal. They built my bike in a handful of hours and I was able to pick it up the same day. Same exact experience when I had them break it down and box it up. We were so happy with their work that we also rented snorkel gear from them, which was very reasonably priced.

Overall, this place is awesome. Huge shoutout to Randon. That guy was an absolute joy and did phenomenal work on my bike. Please give him my utmost thanks!

Was visiting from the mainland and looking for a road bike rental to go on a ride. Very easy to navigate website which made renting the road bike a piece of cake. They had great, high quality options at reasonable prices. The bike was ready to go the moment I got there with clip-in pedals already installed. The staff there was super helpful and gave some route recommendations. Also the store had plenty of great merch. Next time on the Big Island I'll definitely be coming back !

I can't say enough good about the staff at Kona Sports Center! I took my wife's Felt brand road bike in first for a tune-up after buying it used online. They made it practically like new and swapped out some pedals I needed changed. The parts and labor were very reasonable and Randon was super friendly and professional. After such a great 5/5 star experience, I brought my own Specialized brand bike in for a tune-up and this time Caleb did the intake and service. It was another great 5/5 experience, where he proactively took care of a frayed front shift housing and cable. The parts cost was nominal and it came back to me practically like new! Mahalo, gents!?

Kona Sports is the place to go to rent E-bikes if you are in Hawaii's Big Island. The staff took the time to make sure myself, my wife and my son were all comfortable riding our bikes before we left their facility including a test drive in the parking lot. The bikes were flawless and we had an incredible time riding time around the island.

We rented the fishing pole and reel and the whole process was so easy and quick! Francisco helped my fiance and I and was so thorough in explaining everything in detail and helped him pick out everything he needed for the day. He was so nice and helpful with the whole experience. The rod and reel is such great quality as well as the other fishing supplies purchased there. They have so many nice things in the store.
