Whatever gun you want, LA Armory probably has it. This is probably THE single most well-stocked gun store we’ve ever visited.
Of course, my husband has been looking for a rare revolver. The guys quickly went to look it up. We knew it was most likely out of stock anywhere they could possibly check, but they offered to take his number & give a call if they could get their hands on one. Being from out of town, my husband declined.
But nevertheless, service was quick, kind, and efficient.

Very simple review and he two salesmen I spoke with were very nice no problem there as a matter of fact Dan probably has the best inventory around. However his pricing is pretty far off from others but he had the gun I was looking for so I stopped by and tried to do some trading with him let me say before anyone thinks I’m being harsh I get it Dan has to make money but I took a Ruger sr1911 stainless brand new in the box in there and he had the nerve to offer 360.00 for it on trade in on a gun that was nearly 1,000.00and right there behind the counter same gun he was offering me 360 bucks for he wanted almost 1,100.00 bucks for it. Over the last 25 years I’ve shopped at dans but no more I will make the drive somewhere else I suggest more people make that drive as well because if enough did he would maybe appreciate his local customer more.

I ended up going somewhere else to purchased. I was there twice, the purchase was my first weapon.
I had many questions, and was up front about that from the beginning. The first visit, the sales person was ok. The second visit, he was misogynistic and more interested in making a sale than answering any questions.
I ended up walking out and giving my money to a competitor, and will continue to do so.

Edit to provide response from LA Armory:
First, I never said or insinuated that I had no plans to purchase a gun from you. As a matter of fact, the second visit was the visit where I was going to purchase.
Second, The "Dry - Fire" incident, I did once, and instead of explaining to me that it damages the firearm, the sales person just said, "don't do that".
Third, the first visit, the sales person stated reasons why a revolver would be better, such as revolvers do not jam. During the second visit, the only reason he gave for a revolver being better than a semi-automatic was that, "women are less likely to practice". I do not know what he was insinuating, but I interpreted that to be misogyny.
During the second visit, I had a male accompany me and even he was uncomfortable with the condescending tone that was used toward me.

I have been shopping here for 12 years and it is always a great experience. Mr. Dan always has a great inventory even when everyone else is out of stock. The price is fair and the service is always great.

This place is shady. The pricing is high and staff are not very concerned if they earn your business. They are literally cussing at people. They do have a large selection of stuff but Gainesville is a short drive and there are literally multiple gun stores there this size or bigger with better pricing.. Georgia Gun Store, Outdoor depot, Foxhole.. That's just to name a few.. There are even some in Athens if you prefer that route. I don't recommend anyone shopping here. When dealing with firearms you should be courteous, not promoting verbal abuse.

I love this place! All the staff is absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful. They have a huge selection of firearms and ammo, and if you happen to have a question about something they answer it without making you feel like an idiot for not knowing. Pricing seems to be pretty fair as well.

Great staff. Very good in store selection. A lot of high end aftermarket upgrades for a variety of weapons. Couldn’t be happier with the level of service that was provided to me there. Definitely worth the 45min drive for me to continue giving them my business

Great place to shop. Great people and great selection of guns and ammo. Only place i do business with when it comes to new and used gun purchases. Also has the best selection of ammo anywhere.
