Last year I was sent to another shoe store for diabetic sores with inserts. I won’t mention their name but after spending almost $1000 my shoes never fit properly after waiting weeks for them. They were taken back cut apart nothing seemed to work! Hence I asked my Podiatrist if he worked with a better place even if I had to travel some and he sent me to LaRocca Shoes in Boynton Beach, Florida. From the time they called me to setup an appointment till today when I picked up my shoes I was extremely impressed! First making sure I had their info by texting me their calling card information then making sure I could get an appointment that worked with my schedule I was impressed. Then when I showed up for my appointment I was treated with Carte Blanche with the help of picking out sneakers I liked that he knew would fit me properly and look good for a diabetic style shoe. Then he helped me to make my inserts where you stand on a styrofoam type box and it takes an imprint of your feet helping doing the work so it was done properly instead of me trying to balance myself and having to do it over many times like the other place!! Then he also helped make some sort of ink imprint which I believe shows the areas where the foot needs extra support and protection. Once we were done I then asked for a nice dress shoe for the times that there’s special occasions and he showed me this nice pair of shoes and I asked to purchase them as they were not covered under my insurance. He then put my socks and shoes back on told me he would call me to make an appointment when they were ready and that it might be an extra week or so because he would be bringing in a few different pairs so he gets the perfect sizing. When I returned he fitted me with what he felt was the best fit out of the shoes he had bought in to the store and all I can say is that I was so comfortable like walking on clouds. Then because I was so pleased I asked if he carried diabetic slippers for me and he Brang out a pair that were easy for me to try on and fit properly so I purchased them too! I left there with a pair of sneakers, a pair of dress shoes and a pair of slippers to walk around the house and all I can say is that I’m happy as can be and highly recommend LaRocca Shoes! To me it was worth going the extra mile and I guarantee I will be there next year for fittings again!

I can’t thank Joe, Larry, Paul, and the rest of the team enough. After severely breaking my right foot, I was not able to find any shoes that would fit. My feet are two completely different sizes and widths. I’m so thankful that my podiatrist recommended LaRocca shoes. Larry was great about communicating with me and working with my doctors and insurance. When I came in to be fitted, everyone working there was so kind and inviting. Joe took great care of me. Joe and his team came up with an inventive idea and modified a pair of sneakers to fit my feet. When I came in to pick up my shoes, Joe and his team were so happy and excited for me because I haven’t had a new pair of shoes in about 4 years since I broke my foot. Paul helped me try them on and gave me instructions on wearing the shoes and orthotics that they made for me. I highly recommend this place! They are caring, compassionate, very friendly, knowledgeable, they are empathetic to your concerns, and they go the extra mile for their clients. They are the reason I was able to have new shoes to wear at my son’s graduation. This place treats you like family and has always been warm and inviting to me. They don’t judge you; they just want to help. You will not find better customer service.

Had a great experience getting shoes for my wife at this establishment.
Larry took us through the required paperwork on Wednesday and set up an appointment for a fitting on Thursday.

Joe spent a great deal of time measuring my wife's feet to insure
a great fit. He was professional and really knew what he was doing.
Had a nice selection of products for her to choose from.

I highly recommend them for your shoe needs.

Never again! I was recommended by my doctor to use this store. I went back to the store to discuss what happened with my purchase. They miss fitted my shoes as too wide. At the store they screamed at me. It was an extremely horrible experience in the retail store. The men employees there were extremely hostile!

I highly advise consumers and Idoctors to not frequent this store. I am reporting this location to the manufacturer, Brooks and to consumer oganizations.Buyer beware! Buyer beware. Alot of of one Star reviews! The store is lying and I am moving forward with further action for an investigation and exposure of the truth.

This place is amazing. I have issues with morten's neuroma and Joe set me up with a great set of shoes and insoles. He took the time to help fit me correctly and answered all of the questions I had to boot (pun intended)! He was gracious and kind and a charming man. I'll definitely be back again and again. You're not finding service and expertise like this anywhere else.

My podiatrist referred me to LaRocca Shoes. I have been suffering from a slightly deformed right foot in which at mid point there is a damaged tendon that's protruding outward by about a half inch. Every time I walked, there was a slight, but noticeable degree of pain.

After visiting this store, and after working with Elliott (the owner's father in law) my pain not only began to subside (while wearing my new New Balance air cushioned sneakers), but even after wearing these at home for an entire day, my foot pain from walking on my tile floors was almost completely gone.

If Google decided to raise their rating system from a 5 star to a 10 star rating, I'd definitely give this store the highest rating. Not only did the staff ask the right questions, and find me the PERFECT shoe for my feet, but even their prices were in fact cheaper than some of the more discount sources such as Walmart or Amazon, etc.

This IS the best place to acquire footwear if you're afflicted with diabetes or damaged feet. My only regret is that I should have gone there sooner and not wasted my money on a walker which I occasionally had to use. This is the ultimate orthopedic shoe store and clinic.

LaRocca shoes is the answer to the question: "Why go to a shoe store when you can order on line?"
The owners are committed to and expert in fitting people properly, particularly if there is any sort of foot problem ... and who doesn't have some.
They only stock inventory that will do the job ...but the brands will meet both comfort, support and fashion goals for most people.
Personally, they made a HUGH difference in my ability to work by creating truly customized orthotics. The result was far superior to other "custom" manufacturers which generally rely only on a foot impression or image. The hands on expertise and experience make all the difference.

And, they are great, personable people to deal with who always go the extra mile.
