I have went multiple location of les Schwab this is the worst customer service I have received. The first time I got my tire changed they didn't balance my tire so my car was shaking for months until I went to a different location and they told me that they didn't balance my tire now I have to change a new break because three were a giant crack in the break. And the second time I had a screw in my tire and instead of fixing it they told me I need a new tire because I have a tiny screw in the tire, I have to wait 2 hours! For a screw! There are people going after me and they fixed it and left and I still have to wait 2 hours!!!

I would give this Alturas location one a zero if i could. When I checked in, they said it was going to be about 2 hours. I just sat for 2 and half hours waiting to get my studds on while all the locals vehicles got taken back before mine. I walked out. One person "had an appointment," the rest just walked right in and got taken care of. Hey Les Schwab Corprate where's the oversite on this small town franchises? My studds are still in my back seat in the bags (picture attached) after a 3 hour drive.

Great service very customer friendly. Good product and knowledge of . More on the spendy side of things however can't put no price on a peace of mind. Worth it.

I got a punctured tire on my Wrangler on a Friday evening while off-roading near Alturas. I thought I was going to have to wait until Monday to get it fixed but the Les Schwab Tire Center took my tire right away on Saturday morning and they fixed the puncture. I was out in less than an hour. Great service, great price! Thank you!!

Pretty sure the molasses lapped Schwab a few times in this race to change a tire... The employees were more focused on talking about yesterday's happenings then they were changing a tire...
Les himself didn't even like California.... There was a reason for that...
Small town with no small town values.. Typical California

The only .... literally the only reason I gave this place a 5 star rating is because of the gentleman at the front desk.... Noel.
If it wasn't for that guy this woulda been a 1⭐ for sure.

Brought my car in for an oil change and the oil filter cap was put on wrong, causing it to leak out a ton of oil. They did fix that and clean up the car, and luckily my engine was okay, so normally I wouldn't complain since mistakes happen...but they claimed that it barely lost any oil (my driveway says otherwise) and left my oil level extremely low (showing under the low mark when both warm and cold). That wasn't the only problem I've had here, either. I won't be back.

When I got a speeding ticket then a flat tire, my day wasn’t great. Tyler at Les Schwab actually turned my day around! He was so helpful and friendly I couldn’t help but smile! Also he helped repair my tire so I didn’t have to have an unexpected tire purchase! I really appreciated him listening and being so kind and helpful. I didn’t have any cash on me for a tip but he definitely deserved one! Excellent service provided!

This is a fantastic location for when you break yourself on your way to, or coming back from, places where reasonable people shouldn't be traveling.

Jeremy, and the entire staff and location, are excellent and I have nothing but praise for them keeping us on the road.

Strong recommend.
