I don’t like giving 1 star reviews but if you don’t want to Answer my emails and screen my calls, I have a feeling I am not the only one looking after looking at some reviews. I run my business out of this trailer, and it’s been one thing after another losing me money almost quarterly on the calendar.

Trailer is turning three years old this January. So far, thousands spent in welding and electrical repair, including major repair on the ramp which completely fell off due to welds full of porosity and lack of fusion. Heaviest piece of equipment is 800 pounds going on the ramp. Electrical is a complete nightmare on this trailer. Floor boards popping out needing to be screwed back in, wiring exposed and full of corrosion everywhere.

Maybe you should switch your warranty to 30 days and the life span of the aluminum trailers to a year. That would make more sense. Waste of $15,000 Canadian

Bad bad bad. The labor force must be drunk when they “ assemble” them. Screws in sideways, striped out, missing. Super cheap materials, particle board rear ramp, side panels all ripply, trim crooked and ends not finished. Piano hinge on rear door striped right out, side door crooked and don’t close all the way. I’ve had numerous trailers in my 65 years, some better than others, but by far this one is the worst. Can’t wait for lightning to hit it and burn it to the ground so I can get something, anything else.

Cheaply made trailers. Had mine for a year and 2 breaks locked up on separate occasions. Fender lights go in and out. Inside walls are super thin. This is all hooked up to a newer model Chevy that everything works with all my other trailers. Would recommend stealth or bravo over any lightning trailer any day. Not to mention the sides are dented and messed up from flexing hauling 2 four wheelers.

They brag the trailers are the lightest in the industry. That's because they are built with the least metal structure support and cheapest components possible. Had my 14' 2yrs. The roof is litterly made of 2ply tinfoil. Any hail or snow will damage the roof. The roof beams bent when we had 20" of snow in Minnesota. The suspension is the most creaking noisy trailer I've ever had. And I have 5 trailers. Do not buy this trailer unless you live in a place it won't snow or have weather. Can't believe I paid $10,000 for this. Do your self a favor and spend another $5000 to get a name brand. EVERYTHING IS FLIMZY. It won't last 5yrs of normal use.

Storage Holdings

Ordered 16 ft aluminum cargo trailer December 2019. Picked up trailer May 2019. Side cargo door was wedged against the door trim and would not open. The door trim on the inside was also improperly Installed. The roof leaked in 5 different places. Took the trailer back to dealer and they sent it back to factory. Factory had it for months. Got it back and took it home and the side panels were separating. Took back to dealer and the factory would not take it back. Told dealer to take to auto body to get fixed. How could auto body shop fix something that needed new parts from factory. Factory finally took it back and fixed it. Randy from lightning said they had someone on the line that should not have been there. What about all the other trailers this guy worked on. Finally got trailer back 11 months after I ordered it. I turned around and sold the trailer and ordered a Cargo Mate. The quality of this trailer was junk. Buyer Beware

Picked up a trailer for a client and the Staff along with the owner were super pleasant, friendly, and helpful. They made the pickup super easy (the easiest time I've ever had dealing with a manufacturer) everything was ready and prepped for its transport to Florida. Highly recommend them!
