Little Darlings Closet

My partner and I were in Brighton over the holidays and I was looking for a baby shower gift for my friend who (at the time) was pregnant with a boy back in the US. We googled for a children’s clothing shop and randomly decided to visit Little Darlings Closet - and I’m absolutely glad we did. The boutique was utterly adorable; though small in size, it is chock to the brim with the most adorable designer children’s, toddler’s and infant’s garments, accessories like hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, socks; plus extras like toys and gifts. The designer labels that LDC carries include brands like Caramelo, Rochy, Emile et Rose and Mayoral; they aren’t cheap by any means, but the quality is certainly there in terms of the clothing’s design, fabric selection, fit, finishing and details, making them perfect for when you’re wanting kids’ clothing for special occasions. We ended up getting a couple of really cute 3-piece outfit sets for a one-year old from Emile et Rose and Caramelo along with a jumpsuit with fun details like pompoms on the feet, with a matching teddy bear that also doubles as a teething toy. Everything was made with either wool, silk or organic cotton, so I feel like I got way more for my buck than if I went to a fast fashion baby boutique - ideally, I believe that kids shouldn’t have to settle for crappy and poorly-made garments simply because they are kids. After we got back to the States, I gave the clothes to my pregnant friend and she absolutely loved everything we got her. One last thing that I wanted to share regarding our experience shopping at Little Darlings Boutique is how service greatly exceeded expectations. The lady who helped us was so very friendly and helpful; chatting with her was as much fun as shopping and browsing the endless selection of cute things - and that’s saying something considering the fact that I am a chronic, nigh unapologetic shopaholic. She also gave us a bunch of extra packaging such as gift boxes, bags, bows and tags so we could pack the clothing and packaging separately, which reduces the chance of things getting wrinkled or damaged whilst en route. The friendly and personable service combined really makes Little Darlings Closet a great place to shop if you’re on the market for a baby shower or birthday, and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for those things as well!

Wonderful range of baby and children's clothes. Lovely designers from the UK, Spain and Italy. Really perfect place to buy a special gift or seriously stylish clothes for your baby. I bought some beautiful pajamas and a dress for my little girl. Really lovely lady who owns the boutique and was really helpful. We will be back!

This shop is brilliant,, visited after it featured in the vogue magazine with my partner and she could not believe the choice in the shop for our baby, very helpful staff and got to be the best baby clothes shop that we have been to and will be visiting again
