When to Lowe's to have an exterior BASEMENT door installed,, now my home is 120 years old and the doorway is not standard. I am visually impaired, so not a good idea to do it myself. According to my daughter the installer measured the FRONT entrance door. 3 days later I received a voice mail stating the work couldn't be done basically because the installer didn't have the skill. Spent those days calling the store repeatedly trying to make sure they did the correct door- no one answered except customer service, but this got me no where.

This review does not concern Lowe's itself but the associates themselves. I was at this Lowe's today but a few hours ago. While walking through the store I became shaky and a bit off balance. I am hypoglycemic, had left my sugar in the car and couldn't make it from the back of the store to the outside to retrieve it. I am familiar with this Lowe's and did not hesitate to approach an associate for help. I have found them to be friendly and helpful in the past. The associate, Jen, went to the front of the store to get me a candy bar and on the way told another associate why I was sitting on the floor. That other associate, Betty, came and stayed and talked with me until Jen returned. Jen brought back a candy bar and a five gallon bucket for me to sit on. They both stayed with me until I felt better even though they were working on inventory and quite busy. Jen then picked up the items I had come there for, carried them to the check out and helped me check them out. She then asked another associate, Mikey, to carry them to my vehicle which he gladly did. I believe all this is worth mentioning. Too often I hear nothing but how no one cares and everyone is out for themselves. I personally don't believe that and I was not surprised by the care and concern shown me by these associates. It's not always about profit. Associates are first and foremost human beings. Please keep that in mind when having issues with the store itself. This Lowe's has been very good at listening to and resolving issues. Highly Recommend

Very pleased with the customer service in the store, as well as my delivery experience. I bought almost the exact same items (stove and frig) at Lowe's as I had previously ordered at Best Buy, and the total cost was $125 less at Lowe's than it was at Best Buy (that is even with my Best Buy Total membership discounts). I cancelled my order at Best Buy when my delivery was confirmed the day before, and then was never informed that my delivery had been cancelled. I received multiple texts and a phone call from Lowe's informing me of the status of my delivery.

Terrible customer service. I'd give zero stars if that were an option. Between the messed up special orders, damaged product, and incapable associates, I'm not sure which is worse. I called the customer service desk to check on an order and was placed on hold. It's been 28 minutes and I'm still on hold. At this point, I'm just curious how long they plan to leave me here... Do yourself a BIG favor and go to Menards. Their customer service is excellent, you will get 11% cash back, and you won't be mad.
