Great clothes, everything is well made. Another plus is everything they make has a limited run, so once it's sold out it's never remade. This makes it less likely to run into your best friend at a party with the same outfit on. With great quality cones great price, most men's shirts average around 70 dollars I can remember what my wife's dress was. They come in matching sets for men and women but on occasion one will sell out faster than the other so you may not be able to get a matching set. Personal experience on that one. Overall great stuff so drop by and check them out

Manuhealii has completely lost its way, and my recent experience only proves how far this company has fallen. What used to be a brand known for its quality, aloha spirit, and beautiful designs has become a business that prioritizes profit over people, with subpar products and downright rude customer service.

I recently purchased a matching set for my three children for a family funeral and needed sizes for myself and my husband. I made it very clear that I needed the clothing urgently, as the funeral was Saturday morning, and I was told the remaining items would be ready for pickup on Friday. I received a voicemail at 3:15 PM that day letting me know the order was ready. I live 1.5 hours away, so I called to let them know I’d be cutting it close to their 5 PM closing time. Instead of understanding or offering any flexibility, the employee on the phone laughed and said, “We close firmly at 5—drive safe!”

I rushed the entire way and arrived at the store at 5:02 PM, only to find the door locked. The elderly employee was standing right there, shaking her head at me while I stood outside in tears, begging her to let me in. I explained that my grandmother’s funeral was the next morning at 9 AM and that I just needed to pick up the clothing I had already paid for. Her response? “No, no, no.” No empathy, no aloha, just a cold refusal.

This was not just bad service—it was outright disrespectful during an incredibly emotional time. To make matters worse, the quality of their clothing has declined significantly. What used to be made with breathable rayon and cotton is now cheap, itchy polyester—plastic, overpriced garbage marketed as premium aloha wear. It’s bad enough that the clothing is uncomfortable, but it’s also completely unsustainable. Manuhealii is contributing more plastic to landfills and more microplastics to our bodies.

This company seems completely behind the times when it comes to using ethical, healthy materials, and they’ve abandoned any sense of the aloha spirit they once had. Instead, their employees, especially the older woman I dealt with, act cocky and condescending, as if working behind the Manuhealii register makes them better than the very customers who made this brand what it is.

I’ll never shop here again. Instead, I’ll be supporting brands that still care about quality, sustainability, and customer respect, like Fighting Eel, Yireh, Eternal Summer Hawaii, Sig Zane, and Kahulalea. Manuhealii could learn a lot from them, but at this point, I’m done.

Great place for unique local wear. Prices moderate They don’t duplicate their styles much…. So if you like it, buy it!

Lots of authentic styles, almost everything made on Oahu. Given that, prices are reasonable. I went for kids clothes, plenty of options (maybe more for girls, but great shirts for boys too). Staff was very helpful.
